I'm sure I remember that Jody Latham was in an ep from the trailers for s1 - I wonder if s4 is all made up from that filming block, or if any other s3 eps were from then.....(I'm pretty sure that sentence is completely unintelligable!!)

s3 was over far, far too quickly....really glad we already know that s4 is comming this year (although nothing seems certain with channel 5!)  Fingers crossed for more filming this summer - I'd really love there to be some more 2 parters!

I'm pretty sure that I remember seeing him in one of the trailers from s1...for one of the eps that then didn't get aired?  Which would make that ep one of the original, previously unseen eps.  But in my current wooly brained state I may just be making things up.....

No I believe what Fifi meant is that she thought he was a guest actor in the first filming session, the one we keep calling S1. However Lucy Gaskall (of BH & DW connections) was in that Ep too, so that was from the second filming.

Since Suspects has had two filming sessions and CH 5 has gotten "creative" in how it's aired them, I like to refer to them as the Autumn & Summer filming to keep it straight. This is my bookkeeping:

AUTUMN 2013 FILMING - 10 EPISODES

SUMMER 2014 FILMING - 7 EPISODES

S1 EP 1-5 AUTUMN

S2 EP 1-4 SUMMER

S3 EP1 SUMMER, EP2 AUTUMN, EP3 AUTUMN, EP4 SUMMER

S4 3 EP FROM AUTUMN, 1 EP FROM SUMMER (order to be determined)

I hope I'm partially wrong about S4 and that there is more filming so that not only do we get the last unseen episodes, but that it is longer. I could see how it might be a good strategy to film 10 more episodes, append 2 of those to S4, and have S4 be 6 episodes, then S5 8 episodes!  Of course I want more, More, MORE... 

And as much as I've yet to find an episode I didn't like, my favorites were when they did the double episodes of S2.  A different vibe, get more invested in the characters. And that's when it makes sense to air them back to back.

It feels like Suspects not only has been an experimentation on this new type of semi-documentary drama filming, but also on scheduling.

I just checked, that 2nd one is definitely not one that was released before.  I agree fifi, it will be hard not to giggle about his moment of power.  He's so adorkable.

It is looking that way fifi.  The Devil You Know is most likely a year and half away (if not more?) - they have to edit the pilot, approve the show, then film an entire season (usually 10 to 12 eps on HBO).  If it's filmed next winter, most likely will be slated for the following fall season.  Channel 5 billed Suspects S4 for the summer.  I was thinking that meant June, but I got confused with the fact they FILMED last June.  You're right, S2 aired in August, so it is more likely.  I'm surprised (irked) that it's taking SO long for Kill Your Friends.  Filmed a whole year ago, has high profile actors, from what we've read international distribution was pretty much guaranteed.  WHAT'S TAKING SO LONG???  Clean Break was filmed less than 6 months ago, fall TV season makes sense.  And Tiger Raid - oh how I crave thee.  That one is a slippery bugger with all the hush hush.  It's in post now, new production company and still looking for distribution.  Can only hope it actually WILL come out this year. 

Feels like we're in a holding pattern.  All these wonderful projects he worked so hard on that have been dangled in front of us.  But we have to wait... and wait...
