He does appear to have the whole package.  I believe his father is German and his mother is American.  I know he plays expensive violins. I can't imagine stepping on that expensive of a violin.  He can't be too clumsy though the way on his Mission Impossible theme he plays his violin while stamping on cymbals attached to his boot to a different beat.

He said on BBC Breakfast that he was walking down some steps when he tripped and dropped the violin case but couldn't save himself from stepping on the case.

I love this thread!  There are some really fantastic tunes in here, but quite a lot of them easily reduce me to tears if I'm not already in a feelgood mood.  So I've decided to add my (let me emphasise my) current feelgood song to the mix.  I hope this doesn't seem too corny.....!

The obvious association may be how my obsession with this track started (just the best moment on tv ever!) but I probably listen to this at least once every day (who am I kidding...I never just listen to it once....)  and a few minutes jumping around the house to this never fails to make me feel good - whatever my original mood!

This needs to be listened to at volume....so you can physically feel it.  The anticipation when the intro starts actually makes my heart beat faster...and it gives me such a rush of energy that it's impossible to keep still.  And the second half is - if possible - even better than the first!  Enjoy!!

(sorry....I'm such a rambler lol!)

Had a bit of a glam rock fest here yesterday, so I thought I'd just drop these in here.  Bit more classically 'feelgood' than my last offering...a bit less cathartic, maybe.

There is so many songs that are my feel good song but at this direct moment its the classic New York New York - Frank sinatra. But Hall and Oates you make my dreams come true is right next to it. I have always loved Hall and Oates they are such a great band.

Such a lovely sunny day here in the UK today!

Funny how the weather affects what you listen to and I've been listening to The Beach Boys - classic!

Really weird for me to say considering how much my music taste has changed...
But Love Generation is still my feel good song and I feel it might always be! It's a song I blast when I'm having a bad day and for a reason I just can't put my finger on... Makes me very happy. aww

Weird because I'm a metal head... AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Kiss, MotorHead,  so fourth. So for something so out of my usual genre it's a little odd.

There are a couple of songs by Panic! At The Disco that I currently adore. The first one is called "Victorious" and it is a proper dance around the kitchen song and sounds fantastic played loud (through my headphones, I'm a considerate neighbour) and also "Emperor's New Clothes" (which has a fantastic video to go with it)
