yay Ciara, glad you took the plunge, and that you felt warmly welcomed by us all, there are a few forumers over there! The positives of twitter include that it is a big, very big, neutral playground where everyone comes together without heirarchy. Hope you have fun! I am hanging by a thread with twitter myself at the moment.. but I am sure it is just a phase.

Yeh, I love those all inclusive tweets too!

I am conscious that I may have been inundating Damien with more than the average mentions, during BH5... partly by retweeting some of the amazing feedback the fans have been giving him for Hal!

It was interesting, in the light of our discussions earlier on in this topic about tweeting Damien, to hear in his interview with The Radio Times that he likes to hear back from the fans:
"I haven’t seen the episodes, so I’m just as excited as you are to see what they look like," he says – adding that he’ll likely be on Twitter beforehand helping to ramp up the excitement for fans.
"I always try to give a teaser before the episode. And it’s lovely to get people’s messages in the couple of days afterwards, to see how much they enjoyed certain moments. That’s lovely, to be able to communicate with fans like that."

But i think I will be toning it down a little with the @ mentions to Damien, now that he has nearly 19,000 followers (crikey!) the man could drown under tweets!

I do wonder at what point the cast were told this was the last series, I know the writers knew before series 5 was penned, but looking back to that first day of read-throughs...I wonder if it was then or later on?
