The first time i met Damien was back on the 23 Aug 2011 when BH were filming in the pawn shop in Barry. He had no problems in coming over to talk to the fans that had gathered to watch and catch glimpses of the new characters and old.
He told us all about himself, about how he was straight out of drama college to come into this wonderful series. He was a bit in awe at people that turn up time after time (think he still is) but he always makes time for a chat if he can (unless its raining). Even when there busy if he spots you he will wave and say hello as do the other main members of the cast. Although Kate is a bit shy, she was more chatty at the second Island days filming !
When he's together with Michael (Socha) anything goes and can happen, crazy boys together having a laugh :D Hehe he signed his first autograph when they were filming in the city hall and that was for me :D

So on the second pic, Damien had his fangs in?! that must have been an extra buzz to see! It is so cool to see the cast and crew of that epic scene in '1955' with the famous speech!

Thnaks yea they are very down to earth. He's also very good at remembering names, he remembered mine after a year of not seeing him.
I would love a go with those teeth! it must really help to get you in the vamp role...I wouldn't want to take 'em out!!!!!
But...We can play in the dressing up box and pretend to be vampires but ultimately whats the point ..sooner or later we all go back to the mortal humans we truly are.

I do remember Dorina hinting on Twitter and FB about Damien but not naming names til much later. She said that he was gorgeous and that we'd love him and she was right, he is and we do.
When i met him in Newcastle, i was struck by how humble he was and how blown away he has been by the reception he's received from Being Human fans of Hal. He really appreciates all of the kind things said about him.
I'd love to lurk and watch them film but logistically it's a bit of a nightmare, too far away, family obligations and the like so i live vicariously through stories such as this one :)

Oh i like that thought that he's a bit of a chatterbox once he overcomes his shyness, as i can be too as friends will testify (for me it's a nervous habit, if i'm nervous then i chatter, my daughter has inherited this trait too). Sounds like my kind of person :)
