Damien has a page on IMDb and Wikipedia

These are not official pages but are reputable and reliable.. and your humble webmistress is one of the contributors.

yes the score seems based on that! there are only 4 questions though so not all that tricky just fun to see Damien had a quiz on Imdb, and suits my current short attention span!

Perhaps speed is an issue because they've taken into account people might be looking the answers up?

I was typing with one finger while I ate my toast. And I kept stubbornly typing in the sub title instead of the title as it's known on imdb. So I scored 142!

It is interesting that Imdb don't allow stage work listed in the actors main credits, though Travelling Light was allowed under NT Live and I did manage to add Damien's Travelling Light theatre performances under 'Personal Details' -> 'other works'. but for some reason Tis Pity was not accepted, even though it was a substantial run of a well known play, and nor was Making Rosebud along with the other film shorts! I shall try again.

It's a film and TV site, so maybe it just wasn't set up to accept theatre productions. NTL was recorded so it fits the site rules, I suppose. No live performances. (How the site knows, I just don't know.) But short films are usually listed. Maybe the site was just having a funny moment.

Lol! It didn't occur to me to try again ... So I just did and my score only went up a little, to 160 something. I went and typed The Short List instead of The List. D'oh!

I gathered the reason why the stage work was not in the  main filmography but felt IMdb should evolve to include all actor credits, maybe as an extra section called 'theatre' - especially seeing as they are already not just strictly a movie site. but having accepted this fact, I then tried to add his theatre appearances under personal details 'other works;' but it accepted TL not Tis Pity..that is the inconsistency I am mainly referring to. and....as you point, out it accepts his other short films so why not Making Rosebud! Have had another go..we shall see it takes Imdb a while to process stuff. (I did not do the bio or the rest of the bits on there by the way, just the areas i have mentioned)

I agree. I've wished myself they included theatre so I'd like to see imdb evolve. I'm a bit techno dense so I have no idea what issues that may raise for the owners of the site.

Apart form it being a logistical nightmare with the gazillions of actors credits they have there UJ? I don't know... I am not aware of any legalities in listing just the names of an actors' credits. It would be a far more holistic approach, many actors are multi-talented in different fields!

May have a go at creating another quiz, the How well do you know Lord Harry? quiz seemed quite popular, but this time a general Damien one covering all his works..we have to do better than four questions!

I thought the fans would do the inputting! If they did it all at the same time, that could be an issue.

I was surprised by there being just four questions. I've never seen a quiz that small, and based on speed too. Do they think people need a quiz that will only take up seconds of their time? I had no idea there was a demand for such things.

As you do. I made the submission at the same time as the Travelling Light one, which appeared over 3 months ago... so I suspect although hope my suspicions are unfounded, that it may have been temporarily censored by some kind of profanity filter!

you mean the message boards? lol! I have dipped into those, but find them strange and unwelcoming lands, the vibe seems to be about being as sarcastic and anti as possible, I do not see the point of coming online to do that. I did dip into the Damien discussion boards over there and try to strike a few convos but felt rather chilly and scurried back here to hurriedly sit by the warm forum fire.

They can be interesting and on rare occasions entertaining, but yeah, usually pointless.

I have submitted a new section on the biography which has been accepted and will be (hopefully) on the page within the next 72 hours.   If anyone finds it incorrect or wants to change it, you have to log on to the website.  Or just let me know.

Hi Pearl, good job! I make regular submissions to Damien's page on imdb, but so far restricted it to his work. Look forward to seeing the new bio it was a bit out of date

I also noted someone added a new photo, a little random I feel, considering the original was a candid shot of Damien the actor not Damien in role, and the shot chosen is not particularly a profile pic.

You topic as been merged with our existing Damien Imdb topic. Thanks!

Sorry I didn't see this thread when I posted. Anyway here is the (edited) text of what I wrote.

Damien Molony was recently cast as Irish Detective Constable Albert Flight in the second series of the BBC drama Ripper Street, which is set in Whitechapel in the period immediately following the Jack the Ripper murders. Albert Flight is a young, bright addition to the original detectives working in H Division of the Metropolitan Police. Early in the series Detective Inspector Reid is not sure whether he will fit in, following the tragic murder of Constable Hobbs at the end of the last series. However, he shows that he can cope with working undercover. He is a "man of secrets" according to the trailers which have been shown. Damien has also been cast as Det Sgt Jack Weston in the new Channel 5 series entitled Suspects. His co-star is Faye Ripley. The series is set to be aired in early 2014.

Ok confused, is it called suspects or evidence? Imdb has it as evidence, or is that something entirely different?
