I love Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon! For a second there I thought we were all up for a game. Anyway, I'll check out the site. Always a laugh. Thanks for the link, Sami.

Edited to add that I popped straight over there and checked out George Formby to KB - and it's only 2 degrees - closer than DaMo! It always cracks me up how, thanks to Roddy MacDowell, some odd connections come up so close to Kevin.

So you might have herd about this thing called a "bacon number". Well if you haven't, it has to do with the theory that Kevin bacon is no more than 6 people away from any other actor. And someones "bacon number" is how many people away they are from kevin bacon. Well, I found this website that allows you to find the bacon number of any actor/actress you could possibly think of! After a few minutes of doing that, I discovered you could change it from Kevin Bacon to any other actor. So naturally I changed it to DaMo ;)! So I thought it'd be cool to post the link here for people to find the "Molony number" of their other favorite actors! http://oracleofbacon.org/movielinks.php P.s. for those wondering DaMo's bacon number is 3

Thanks for beginning the topic Sami! I must admit when I heard google had added the bacon number search function I did check out Damien's, google let me down...but The Oracle oF Bacon did not! He not only has a Bacon number 3, he has it twice!
He can relax now, you you've made it when you get such a short Bacon number!

Damien Molony -> When The Hurlyburly's Done -> George Taylor -> Sherlock Holmes Game Of Shadows -> Lasko Atkins -> X-Men First Class -> Kevin Bacon

And this one that the oracle failed to see:

Damien Molony -> Travelling Light (NTLive) -> Sir Antony Sher ->Shakespeare in Love (1998) -> Colin Firth -> Where The Truth Lies -> Kevin Bacon

and is it just me who is delighted that Damien and Ryan Golsing are conected by the power of 4?
to either of the above add -> Crazy Stupid Love (2011) -> Ryan Gosling

:coolbounce

Omg so funny I was just playing the bacon number game last night because a friend told me about it. I'm convinced I'm the only person without a bacon number. Every time I tried to research it I only came up with my recipes for bacon online hehehe I'll try this site though I'm really curious!

oooh just found out you're supposed to add celebrity names duh lol no wonder it didn't work for me. My friend actually had a number though I think it was a 5 because she knew someone who knew someone (and so on) who stepped on his foot or something but obvs she didn't find that online :-s

Tremors was one fine movie, Brookesey, no mistake.

Michael Socha was in Shank with Rebecca Ferdinando who was in the fabulous X-Men First Class with the man himself, Kevin Bacon. Which means Michael draws equal with Formby and Will Hay. Now that's impressive.

Very cool UJ! So they need to do a Being Human movie (as Phil mentioned in the Being Human series 4 dvd extras interviews) so that Damien and Michael are in the same Bacon sandwich!

A being human movei!?!?! Now that would be bloody wonderful!

Yeah, it gets quite entertaining when you do the game with just movies (as you can do it to include television shows which takes the fun out of it lol)

A Bacon sandwich! Madam!

Not sure about a movie really. If it's going to detract resources from the show ... Maybe if it was about a different ghost, vampire and werewolf ... If it was about a specific time in Hal's life, great ... What it comes down to is I trust the BH team so I'm sure it'll be fine.

OK. a multi billion dollar movie mogul will fully finance a Being Human film, with extended funding guaranteed for BH tv series (uk) forever more, with all creative and other rights remaining entirely with the BBC ! action
loving the idea of it being about Hal's life. a Hal spin off movie!
