People with hazel eyes are said to be empathetic and sensitive to others. They are considered very beautiful and loving. They are the risk takers and love a challenge. They are usually up to trying anything once.
fascinating really! Do you mean your eyes change colour UJ? mine do too, they are hazel but sometimes more green, or brown.and occasionally a quite unsettling amber. An iridologist once told me eyes can change colour with health and for example if you went on a detox, there would be less flecks and specks, and they would become clearer!
my eyes are grey...just grey...plain, boring grey. Not lovely flecked grey like the picture in the link. Just grey. I guess that's why I don't fit the profile! My sister has beautiful, huge, flecked hazel eyes. But mine are grey. Hope I don't sound too bitter.....!
I don't think they change colour (not in my case). I think it's a question of light and for some reason my sister keeps insisting they're brown. She wants to be the only one with hazel but I'm sure her eyes are more brown than mine. Basically, she's mental. Now that does run in the family.

I have very blue eyes. My son and my husband have green-hazel eyes and my daughter has the most beautiful pure green eyes i've ever seen. Neither of my children inherited my eye colour but my son has inherited his dad's, they are identical in colour.
I love that one too UJ. Imagine wearing something like that to work, especially if you worked in a really straight laced environment. The idea appeals!
I absolutely love these contact lenses and really like all of the patterned ones - especially the swirly ones. But if I actually bought some it would have to be the black ones. I'd love to have black eyes! Sorry if that's boringly predictable....but it's just the way it is. It's never going to happen though - I really don't think I could put them in my eyes.
I had to practice quite intensely when I first got contacts. I stopped wearing them when I bought glasses I really liked. If extra money comes in next year I'd like to go back to contacts. There are times it's a bit more convenient, like when I'm attempting to do kick boxing. If I turned up to kickboxing with snake eyes ...

I have grey-blue eyes. :) they are probably my favorite feature :) I wear contacts (when i have the energy to put them in) and in junior high i got some super cool amber lenses and it was right when twilight hit it big so that what everyone thought i got them for, so they kinda bullied me about them (not too serious bullying!!). I also had some AWESOME emerald green ones that looked super cool on me! But i dont know if ill ever get colored ones again... that is unless i find some full eye black lenses ;)

Oh wow...youred coloured contacts sound mega Sami! Ugh, school bullies make my blood boil. Hope you sank your fangs into them to prove they were right.
Although we know that the Being Human vampire eyes are FX, apparently all black contacts do exist!
i have plain brown eyes. ugh, i so wish my eyes were cooler.
Sami I wore the amber eyes a couple years ago! I was Alice for Halloween and at the Twi-Con that year. I won second prize for my Alice costume.
but it sounds like I'm considerably older than you so they probably looked alot cuter on you. lol

@UJ I have put myself through all kinds of ordeals for thrills in the past (mine or other peoples) so depending on he discomfort levels.... it would be amazing in the right place at the right time!?
@whimsyfox Brown eyes are very soulful! Do you, mean Alice from the Twilight films? I am not a massive fan but I bet that was fun!
Yes I was Alice from Twilight. I was a big Twilight fan, the books more than the movies, but I had fun with the movies and Cons. Met about a dozen of the actors. Met a fabulous group of quilters like me on the TwilightMoms forum but left the forum & just have a private FB group & blog. We've made several Twilight themed group quilts that we auction for charity & sent one to Stephenie Meyer that she mentioned in an interview & sent us signed books. I'm toying with idea of making a Hal quilt now. Obsessing about it actually but I have so many projects going on.
Sorry a little off topic.
