Very odd! At least it's moving back in the right direction now. I hope that this is it's final resting place.....I can probably listen 'live' on may 30, but there was no chance on june 3. And, for some reason, that feels important!
Domino - can I ask who sent you the email with the amended date?
I am assuming that the info for 3 June I was given is correct, if the BBC Media Centre info has not been updated or removed by Monday i will make further enquiries.
fifi, the back and forth emails in this whole sage have been with exec producer Gemma McMullan and then Morag Keating, from BBC NI Radio Drama. I am very grateful to them for staying in touch and letting us know of the schedule changes. Or we'd be even more in the dark!
The date is 3 June Laura, if you go back 2 posts. It was confusing to still see it on the BBC Media Centre as 30 May, but they have removed it now. When the schedules are updated there, it should be at the (new) correct date ! (i double checked with Morag/Gemma McCullan yesterday)
I've been following the progress of this (or lack of it) on the BBC media site, and am very gratified that everyone now says the same thing. Thanks for keeping us updated, domino - I will now put this in my diary....in pencil, maybe!

yes, pencil it in your diary, quite literally fifi! You are very welcome, I will of course let everyone know if I hear of any more schedule changes, but I am sincerely hoping this date doesn't move any further away from us.
I hope there will be some way we DaMo fans in the USA can hear this. I could listen to him talk for hours. *sigh*
You may be able to via the BBC website - they tend to be slightly laxer over people being able to listen to the radio abroad than the TV stuff. It's worth seeing if you can pick up Radio 4 prior to the 3rd, just to try it out!
Hi Carrie, as I think has been mentioned earlier in the topic, the vast majority of BBC Radio shows are available online, on the BBC Iplayer, internationally. which of course means you can listen live on the iplayer and afterwards. I believe the only exceptions are those containing rights managed material.
Damien's previous radio drama Student Stories was on the iplayer and eventually ended up on youtube.

This is great news! I was worried about this myself.

The Radio Times schedule is up for first week of June and there is an entry for 'The Hill Bachelors' on 3rd, so fingers crossed, it is really happening this time!
I love the radio times..."Starring Damien Molony....". Doesn't that look good on the page?!
Having got this close, if it's not broadcast on Monday I might just have a breakdown! It gotta by pretty unlikely that it won't be though. And I'm not working on Mon, so I will be able to 'listen live'. eek!

I wonder if Damien will actually tweet something about the radio show this time. He seemed to have either forgotten when Student Stories was being broadcast last time or deliberately didn't remind anyone on Twitter.

Considering that he recorded this back in December, he's probably completely forgotten about it!
