My pleasure fifi, it was a delight to find it online.

As a fan of Damien, this news item is exciting for 3 reasons: (I'm going to give it in 3 like a politician )

1. It gives a particular insight into the play, including insight from the playwright Anders Lustgarten
2. It shows a goodly amount of amazing footage of Damien rehearsing, in role as his characters. this may be the only time those of us who cannot see the play get to see Damien in action..
3. This is fantastic mainstream exposure for Damien, who gets a decent amount of face time in this segment on a major tv news programme.

I was pleased to see how much time Damien got in the piece, even though he wasn't interviewed. Maybe his lovely (and increasingly famous) face was hard to resist.

Now lo available on Youtube, added into the first post, in case members cannot see the original video.
You are very welcome Knightley and the same thought occurred to me TJ, that and his undeniable talent, which we are treated to much more than any of the other actors in this video!

I just love that the only cast who you hear are Meera Syal and Damien!  Most of the reviews I've seen don't even mention Damien, so I'm glad he got his few minutes on national news!

Yes and Damien actually has the longest performance time, they clearly know great acting when they see it! just this wee snippet in the rehearsal room shows Damien's talent, I can't get over just how epic it is that it was on the bloody channel 4 news! dancing

I have also noticed the lack of mention of Damien in the reviews, but most of the actors are unnamed too, the focus seems to be on the subject matter, and the writing, not so much the performances.

Shouldn't have watched clip, so disappointed now that i never got to see it... its my type of pondery play. I saw the tents, placards as normally stay in youth hostel nearby when visiting london. Love how some folk are drawn to political and not cosy plays...
