So now we are half way through the series and we have had the the online exclusive Wooed in Paris seen the return of electic chemistry and sexual tension between Hal and Alex, that Tom has to literally cut with a knife - who wants that to develop and who would prefer there to be zero romance between the 2?
Would you like to see more HALEX?

I voted for option two. We already got vampire/ghost romance in previous seasons, I don't need to see it (ending with heartbreak) again. But I really love the tension between them.
the current state of play: the majority vote goes to 'more tension and chemistry between them but no actual romance' with no votes for the zero option!
I was anti any shipping but I've changed my mind about Hal and Alex. I didn't believe in Mitchell and Annie. The chemistry they had in season one was completely - totally - ignored in season two and then suddenly they're the loves of each other lives? Saying it don't make it so. But so far Hal and Alex have the continuity, and since this is the last season, with two episodes to go, there's little time to stuff it up.

OOh....the 'yes to wooing and romance' is catching up with the 'yes to more chemistry but no romance'!
keep the votes coming!
@J-B if you can find a pic of yourself in the exact same pose as Alex, I'd be happy to try the photoshopping!
@UJ ooh la la ! what converted you?!
@Lau and Kayla you are a romantic at heart!
@Jennster - i'm with you and voted fort eh second option, I am one for tension in art all its forms, and there is something to be said for this rumbling away between Hal and Alex, it would be an anti climax I feel in terms of the dynamic between them. I'd like to see it keep on brewing and building! Having said that, I would also love to see some Hal action, not just for the obvious but that idea of him losing control as a man and/or a vampire and the lust /bloodlust balance!
Before it all ends. I just want too see Hal kiss Alex...not the other way around .. i think i want too see evil Hal kiss Alex..in a loving way. Just to prove that even evil people have emmotions! yes i want it to be proven that even Lord Harry has emmotions :p x

Well I voted option 3. Even though there is some tension and chemistry between the two, I feel like they are stretching it with Alex. From the beginning the vibe I've gotten from her is that she's interested, but as soon as he does something "creepy" she pulls away. It doesn't feel to me like she loves him or is in love with him in a romantic sense, more like she's facinated by him. And she has a strong sense of what she feels is right and wrong. Maybe she's getting a little desensitzed to it, and granted with the "Wooed in Paris" clip and the scenes/dialog in E4 they started introducing a more romantic feel from her. But I think it's too late with the amount of time left. (not to mention from the clip for next week he might have blown it!)
I however still hold a teeny tiny hope of some Hal action and romance. We got a taste of the romance in his monolog about Sylvie - jaw dropping, breathtaking scene btw, the way it was blocked, the lighting, the music, the intimate feel, the unshed tears - but I digress...So I feel there was some romance there, and it was nice he just talked about it, rather than have a flashback, but beyond that the closest thing we've gotten is that kiss on Alex's hand. To not even get a propper kiss before the series ends?! To not feel the intensity of the moment when he, as you say domino, either looses control as a man and/or vampire. After all the buildup of him seducing several thousand women, with the tension in the Catherine flashbacks, the Patsy fangirling, even the "body of a greek god" reference from E4....and now the threat of naughty Lord Hal rising. It would feel flat if they didn't take it to a sensual level. A big Epic battle isn't what Being Human is all about, though they certainly have those. The heart of Being Human is the internal struggle for balance, and for vampires there is always a lust component, wether it is linked to an actual sexual act or just the intimacy of the bloodlust rearing up and the actual giving into the bloodlust. He can't just drink from a flask forever. There has to be some intimate contact involved.
Why do I always feel so shallow about these things.

YES! I'm a sucker for romance and there is not enough time for Hal to get a whole romantic thing going with someone else. If you are asking about the other then obviously yes to that to !!!

With two episodes left it would really be an exercise in futility. Not enough time to develop anything meaningful at all. I actually think that this season would have benefitted from eight or nine episodes because a lot of the 'themes' have not had enough time to run. A romance between these two, based on what has already happened, would just feel like it had been shoehorned in.

I have a feeling we will get a kiss, but there will be frustration, because he can't feel it. (Mitchell and Annie)
BUT WAIT!
Just from the teaser and trailer I'm wondering if the Devil doesn't give her back her life. This gives Alex what she wants and it's the Devil's way 'in'. Hal will be able to feel her then, but it's a dangerous situation with his condition. Or maybe she is all ready alive again and when he kisses her- he is stunned and scared for her safety. I think he loves her more than she loves him. To Hal- Alex is very much like Sylvie- infuriating and physically attractive. To Alex... I think Hal is a friend, but she is looking for a more traditional relationship. A slow progression to the next level. Somewhere between love and a friend w/ benefits. I truly believes she cares for him and there is some physical attraction as well as a shared sense of humor.
Perhaps at one point the Devil inhabits her body? Now that could be really interesting.
Counting the hours until air time! I'd love it if they got together in some fashion.
it looks like the HALEX kiss has pushed the yes to a romance to the top in the poll!
But it's Being Human, it's never going to be clear cut straight up romance, as Sunday's episode showed... there are so many levels and layers to this relationship.
Welcome HalexFan, thank you for voting and great username..wearing your heart on your sleeve, I like that!
Ooh...interesting thought Carmen...who thinks there will be a proper kiss in the finale?
