How to watch Being Human for Non- Uk fans

So I live in America, where they are being extremely lackidasical about airing the 5th series (or even letting us know when it will happen!) So i have found a few different ways to watch it online, and I thought i'd share my tricks!

 

The first one is a given, there are 2 users who post the episodes on you tube 

the first is 8107nancy and the second is Harbin Nicholson (who already has up episode 6!!)

 

The second way that i use to watch it is on the BBC IPlayer, and this way is better IMO

But you may be saying "But sami you live in America, how do you get the Iplayer to work??"

well this is how it is with a VPN, which kinda tricks it into thinking you're in the UK.

This is the one i use. AfreeVPN.com (Use the one that says UK VPN server free account) It's free and quite easy to use. They even give you a step by step guied to setting it up. (Fyi: everytime you use it you have to open up the website and enter whatever the password is when you want to use it. hope that makes sense!)

However,  depending on you're computer and network and such, it might not work too well :/ It might be worth it to invest in one.

Thank you for sharing Sami, hopefully our non uk members and visitors will find this helpful!

Obviously we cannot directly promote non-official downloads and streaming, but it does seem so unfair that the international fanbase..and it is international...do not have access to our beloved Being Human all at the same time! And especailly in light of the following announcement on the official BBC Being Human twitter page today:

Thanks for sharing your tricks, I'm pretty sure lots of people will appreciate it (I do!).

I don't live in UK either and I usually use http://www.expatshield.com/ just download and install the program (it's for free) and you can watch BBC iplayer :)

[Italy]

My friends and I have found streaming and download so easily the morning after BBC aired it. Unfortunately, I don't know when (and if) it will be aired on tv, because lot of people gave up watching it after Mitchell's death (no words). But I really (REALLY) loved watching it in English, because I don't like the Italian voice of characters. 

Anyway, if you need the site to watch it, or download, I can give the one I've used.

P.s then they missed out big time! How could they live without HAL In their lives?
Fortunately new fans are discovering BH all the time... And the fan base is as strong as ever! Which is why it's so deeply tragic and unfair that it is over

off topic: but when Sherrie mentioned they had dubbed version of the show in Italy I did some googling and found out there's Czech dubbed version too so I dowloaded one episode from season 4 and omg I'm laughing so hard and want to kill myself at the same time :D

So I was thinking, this is an international forum and I bet Being Human has been aired in lots of countries, probably dubbed so maybe everyone could edit some short part of the show in their language so English people can laugh (and compare).

If that's possible, jennster, I'd love that. It can be quite bewildering sometimes to hear the actor doing the dubbing having no essence or any kind of similarity to the original.

You obviously can't understand but even the translation is quite bad which makes me really sad because the show deserves better.
And I really hate Alex' voice here, it's super annoying.

Anyway Sherrie, could you please upload or send a link for Italian language version? I'd love to hear that :)

Wow! In Czech!? So cool! I obviously cant understand it, but who ever did Tom's voice almost sounds like him!
