It is the first moment that comes to mind as my favourite too...but I would need to give it some proper thought for a more definitive answer...there are many favourite moments in series 5!
(Been on the forum for a year , two things i still can't do , post a link that works with out copy and paste , post an image and have it large) But i agree. I love this part of series 5! but i think i love other parts as well ... i just can't personally decide! >.

Putting on the Ritz!! How can you not love the song and dance routine, as our boy rejoices tunefully to the fact that he's regressed back to Bad Hal?? It's the way he smacks that pool cue onto the floor that does it for me! And the singing. And the muscles.
I have plenty more favourite scenes too - hold on - let me think.....
Oh, but I do agree with you guys too - the "We're human," scene is my absolute favourite
I think if I had a gun put to my head and I had to choose a favourite moment of s5 it would be the 1918 bit with Hal and Lady Catherine at the start of ep 1. It is truely glorious (glorious seems to be my new favourite word for BH!) but the main reason is because it was the start of ep 1......full of anticipation for what was to come. Everytime I see it I get a little thrill of excitement (!).
It's either seeing his reflection (the only time i've ever hyperventilated watching a scene i was crying so hard) or the 'Putting on the Ritz' number. I honestly can't decide.
I also loved his speech to Tom in the woods (and i think that's my favourite Tom scene ever) and his 'hello hello, you want to speak to the real me?' at the end of the same episode.
My favourite part is when he comes into Honolulu Heights and Alex is looking at the photos of the graffiti. He rattles the car keys and says "Alex" in THE most seductive voice. It makes me melt!
For a very funny moment or two it has to be the "birds and bees" talk immediately after THAT kiss! They must have been killing themselves laughing at that scene, but they played it straight and it came off brilliantly. Then straight into the talk about Natasha!
Yes, that whole scene is perfect. I love the way Tom bounces in totally oblivious that they are having a moment...and then it all goes so wrong for a while.
LOVE LOVE LOVE Series 5, so many favourite moments, they change by mood, the kiss,Hals vulnerability, the birds and bees chat, putting on the ritz, being a good friend, have a favourite moment each episode possibly every 15 minutes of each episode.... More than a touch soft on Hal (Good Hal and bad hal)
