Well observed whimsy, thanks for posting the comparisons, I noticed the leather coat one a while back when it was posted on bbc America, but the differences in the uniform one escaped me... Awesome. It is warmer all round and even though the contrast is subtle, the connotations are immense... Almost hinting at the two polarities of Hal, the first one has a touch of good Hal to it ( we didn't know when we first saw this back in 2012 what period of Hal's life this referred to ) there is a trace of angst in his face, the second has the glimmerings of lord harry self assured swagger !

lol! swagger, charm and class..Hal is not a cheesy swaggerer! in total contrast to 'good Hal's' angsty awkwardness, 'Bad Hal' is deeply cool!

They are all fantastic, the top one seems to show some of the tragedy of Hal - all about the eyes.

The second one is my favourite, and is the most candid out of role shot of them all. It truly is a gift to see how much fun they all had on set.

The third is full of Hal sass, the fourth of Hal's in a bubble denial naievity, the fifth..well I am not sure I have the words. gulp.

Domino - exactly!!  I'm so glad you said that cos I really didn't want to go on about it.....again!  They should've found their way onto the blog before it was closed.....in fact, the blog should've stayed open for comments until after it'd finished airing in the states.  Wonderful as it is that we can now enjoy these pictures, I find it almost insulting that the BBC didn't bother to share them with us.......so hats off to BBCA!

They probably had a deal where they got undisclosed photos for promotion purposes?  Whatever the reason, I was disappointed in the BBCA's treatment of Being Human, the lack of promotion and the butchering of episodes.  These photos help mitigate my irritation of them however.
