I enjoyed the first episode but I had a very interrupted viewing so will have to pay more attentiion when I see it with the hubby (hopefully tonight)

The first few minutes were superb.  Love the brawl banter at the station.

I LOVED Shine and Blush.  

I most enjoyed the insights into the characters and while the episode was fast pace with flight and fight sequences and that was good, I would have liked a little more dwelling on the individuals.  We're given hints as to how they find themselves, and no they don't insult our intelligece, but I would have welcomed a few more minutes devoted to them.

Flight - Ruby his lips totally are pursed.  He looks like a cocky one!  I can't wait to see what the first words out of his mouth are!  I notice he doesn't sport the shiner there, so maybe we'll get to see him fight?  And then he looks so humble in the scene with Reid, so I wonder who cuffs him. Jackson? LOL

One last thougth... Flight in those longjohns.

School and work had monopolized ALL of my time last week/weekend (1 lab practical, 3 exams, plus 35+ hours of work). I was unable to watch the first episode. However, I have it on my computer and am going to give it my full undivided attention before the next episode airs. I am so super excited to watch!

Just finished a re-watch with the hubby on the big screen.  It was so much more amazing, no interruptions, HD quality...

 

I have to agree with something Domino said earlier.  Blush's entrance to the Chinese domino parlor, the slow motion and the music.  It was an exquisitely executed moment.

Shine was even better than the first time.  I actually understood 90% of what he said!

I have to say though, the Joseph Merrick story line seems forced to me.  hide

Flight's hat hair wasn't as bad this time.
