Wish I'd known about the 20% off in the pub! Lovely food so I'll know for next time. And I'm glad I'll be seeing it again as there's a lot crammed in to 90 minutes. I think I only got confused as to who was talking once so it'll be nice to clear that up. Not looking forward to another 90 mins on those seats but luckily the actors sublime performances will help me through.
And it was nice seeing Laura and briefly meeting Su. And was that Becca? Hi, Becca!

Glad you had a good time UJ - and I agree...I'm really glad that I'm going to get to see this again, there is a hell of a lot crammed in, and at times it's I know what you mean about the seats, but - apart from being worried that I might trip one of them up - must admit that I was so immersed that I didn't really think about it once it got going.
The performances really are sublime....and they work together brilliantly. I've also read the play now, and it is not only surprisingly easy to follow, but is just beautifully written....really poetic!
I have a question for anyone who has seen it.....something which keeps bugging me - and as its 5 weeks until I'm going to see it again, I'd be really grateful if somebody could help. Does William Gaminara make (and hold) eye contact with the audience, or is it only Damien who does- and if it was only Damien, was it only as the character of Dan?
Fifi, I can confirm that William holds eye contact with the audience even more so than damien I would say! He basically looked at becca and I for the entire time! Cannot wait to see this again, it really is an amazing play xxx

Thanks, Su....just read your blog - a brilliant read as always....Thanks!
Yeah.....initially I thought that William held eye contact with the audience, but then when I thought about it I couldn't remember - the impression of Damien sitting in a chair 2 feet away, and turning round to look straight at me has kind of muddled things a bit in my head.....
It does feel a bit intimidating - quite confrontational. We had no idea what to expect when we arrived, and were actually first through the door (lol!) but we all just sort of stopped in shock when we stepped inside!
Su, as always a joy to read about your experiences! You always have a fresh, fun take.
The more I hear about the play, the more I want to hear about the play!

Thanks for reading guys, ive altered it now so it actually makes sense instead of the half asleep misspelled nonsense that i originally wrote! Although it probably is still a bit rubbish...lol x

If anyone is still undecided as whether or not to go see this my advice is do so of you can. This is one of the best theatre experiences I have had in a long time. The staging, writing and performances are all amazing and stay with you for a while after.
I couldn't wait until 1 March to see it again so have booked to see it with Louise (doesitsay) on the 14 Feb, closing night at the Gate.
