Not quite sure how I missed these, but good to see Damien and Being Human represented in the Cultbox TV awards 2013 (feature written by our good friend and wordsmith Rob Smedley)
But what do you guys think about Peaky Blinders winning over Being Human ?!?
Best Series Finale
Nominations: Peaky Blinders, The Fall, Utopia, Doctor Who, Being Human, Misfits.
And the winner is... Being Human!
Being Human wins by a wide margin for bringing us a finale that defied prediction and expectation, and gave ultimate power to its fans by letting each viewer decide whether to give its protagonists the happy ever after they deserved, or the darker truth behind their 'victory'. Smart and soulful: it was everything the show deserved in its last hour.
Best Drama
Nominations: Being Human, In The Flesh, Downton Abbey, Misfits, Doctor Who, Black Mirror, Peaky Blinders, Last Tango in Halifax, Utopia, The Escape Artist.
And the winner is... Peaky Blinders!
Best Actor
Nominations: David Bradley (An Adventure in Space and Time), David Tennant (Broadchurch), Stephen Dillane (The Tunnel), Damien Molony (Being Human), Joe Gilgun (Misfits), Matt Smith (Doctor Who).
As I haven't seen many of the other nominees for drama and actor, I cannot speak to those results, BUT I can say that every time I see the name "David Bradley," I do a double take. "Dave Bradley" is an online friend/acquaintance of mine, and he edits SFX magazine, and we have great fun with this. ;)

This is quite interesting....although, obviously, BH and Damien should've won best drama/actor - I found the finale to BH a bit...disappointing. I thought the finale to Peaky Blinders was excellent...even to the extent that I was a bit disappointed to find out that they're doing another series, because the ending was so brilliant, that it'll spoil it to find out what happens next!

this! Apparently these were cultbox's own views though no votes, that would have been interesting!
personally I didn't get along with peaky Blinders although I know many did. Ripper Street way superior in my opinion or perhaps it is because it is better established. or was.
