Hands up if you agree the Suspects soundtrack is pretty awesome!

It is very atmospheric and on point for the tone of the show. and some of the most powerful and moving scenes are those dialogue free camera eyes view moments, when it is just the soundtrack. Where words end, the soundtrack speaks......

It is very evocative stuff! As an occasional (amateur) composer, I am aware of the process of arriving at these pieces.... now they are here, they are perfect and seemless with the show... but it truly takes a talent, inspiration and dedication to get it right and she really has. bravo! I hope this soundtack becomes available to buy!

Yea, this could be something I would want :) Already waiting Suspects DVD, do you think there might be this music in the extas?

I have never come across a dvd with the soundtrack as an extra, but what a good idea!

I would definitely buy this as a separate thing though.

Justine's soundtrack sounds so simple and unobtrusive, but is so atmospheric..... It's perfect!

Agree fifi.. she makes it seem easy because it's so seamless and intergrated with the footage, but it is such a skill.

Suspects composer Justine Barker has written a blog about her scoring Series 5 Episode 1. She describes how the music could develop along with the show's evolution, with series 5's more serial element.

It is a really detailed and fascinating must-read!
