This new article from Variety answers my question from yesterday...

Kill You Friends IS still being released in September in the UK!

 

In addition, Altitude has produced James McAvoy starrer “Filth,” which took in $8.3 million worldwide; “Kill Your Friends,” to be released in September in the U.K.; and upcoming actioner “SAS: Red Notice,” a co-production with U.K. outfit Vertigo Films, which Lionsgate U.K. will bow in Blighty next year.

Whilst a bit disappointing 6 Nov is not long after the BFI London Film Festival which runs during October.
I wonder when its premier will be?....

Hi fifi, yes a definite date is good...and it does make a refreshing change for a feature film to air in the UK before the US!

Hi Becca, Kill your Friends had a market premiere at Cannes (and was acquired by Well Go for US). But I guess you mean UK premiere? I really hope it features at LFF, also hoping that Tiger Raid does too...

Any DaMo is better than none, but the dance moves have got me very curious!
After seeing Damien on the big screen for the NT Live production of The Hard Problem (which I saw 3 times!) I can tell you he looks very, very good up there. Right at home!

It has to be in the film as part of the whole debauchery / partying theme...does anyone else get the feeling that we are going to get a lot more besides?

A little mention of KYF by Nic Hoult in an interview with Flaunt.com. Got a bit of a thrill thinking about Damien playing one of Stelfox's "peculiar friends".

(I'd say Stelfox IS a bit of a psychopath! ? !)

I did a film called Kill Your Friends where I did play, not a psychopath as such, but a product of his environment, based on the book: Kill Your Friends. I’ve got peculiar friends, it’s set in the ’90s music industry, where I’m playing an A&R guy, [he’s] quite smart and switched on but terrified of his past in some ways. So that was a fun, interesting case—like a dark satire comedy.
