Damien played Jacob and Gwynn was his lover in the film, played by Fiona Hampton.
Well, ep1 s4 of Being Human aired on Feb 5th 2012, but the series trailer first aired on Jan 19th 2012....so I would guess that was the date Damien made his first appearence on tv? Or did he do any pre-series tv publicity which I've somehow missed?
I remember seeing the trailer for the first time - I was so worried that Being Human was doomed as my favourite tv show! And to be honest, the trailer didn't convince me otherwise! Lol!!

I was thinking about the first tv programme, but bloody good point about the trailers... and technically the first time Damien appeared on tv (as far as I am aware) was alongside Lenora Chrichlow and Michael Socha on BBC Breakfast (which I was lucky enough to catch but cannot find a recording anywhere! can anyone else?!)
I do remember hearing about the BBC Breakfast thing now you come to mention it - but I'm not sure I've ever even seen that pic before!!! So thank you....

Oh i remember recording the last 45 minutes of BBC Breakfast to catch that interview as i had to take my daughter to school, i was curious about the new boys.
Fifi: that was Damien's first Word Theatre appearance i believe, Latitude Festival, June/July 2012 i think...between series four and five of Being Human...I remember Michael Gallivan being there and tweeting pictures of wellies as the weather was awful, torrential rain and thick mud.

I have seen that pic of BBC breakfast and last year I went scouring the net for that episode. As far as I could tell from BBC archives it was filmed/aired Feb 3rd 2012. But no footage anywhere! oh I hope someday it turns up.
I'm going to take a stab at Hurly Burly. I know it was filmed in Germany. What I'm not sure is if I'm remembering the amount of time correctly. 2 months?

When The Hurltburly's Done was filmed in Germany, in just 1 week I believe. The 2 directors, Hanna Maria Heidrich and Alex Eslam, were German and came over from a film school there, nabbed Damien (they knew talent when thay saw it!) took him back over to film it.
Just a little reminder of what can be included in this game....in case I confused anyone (apart from myself!) with my comment that it was just about tv and film.
Your question must be related to Damien's career (including 'official appearences'), or a character that he has played.
So that's pretty much everything - excluding his private life....
