Jump in at any time folks! fifi, whimsy and I are obviously experts but come and challenge us all with your Damiac knowledge!

fifi, in the photo Damien is with Glenn Spears who played a 'night refuge man' (and posted the photo originally!) and Jerome Flynn (Sergeant Bennett Drake). They were filming a scene in Damien's debut Ripper Street Series 2 episode, Episode 2 'Am I Not Monstrous', where Flight showed his 'greenness' and was punched by Glenn Spears's character!

That is such a lovely picture I do remember what it's from (although I have looked up some of the details)

Ok...so I knew it was WordTheatre at Adam Street.  And I knew that it was around the same time as Latitude, so summer 2012 - turns out it was July 4th 2012 - so I also thought he was reading First Person Shooter (which he was) although I wasn't 100% sure..... And I had completely forgotten that it was to benefit the Anaphylaxis Campaign.

Is that enough info?  And did I mention how lovely that pic is........?

 

So my question....

What was Damien doing when he found out that he'd got the part of Hal in Being Human?

I've just realised that my whole answer was based on the fact that the photo is from the Adam Street event...which I was completely sure it is.  But suddenly I'm doubting my confidence......

Hehehe!  so my sudden moment of doubt was well founded then!

I'm still certain that its from summer 2012....and that it's a WordTheatre event.....so it must be from the same event where the pic with David Soul is from?  But I can't remember where that was......

It's late....I'm tired. I shall have to investigate tomorrow.

OK...2nd attempt!

The pic was taken at the WordTheatre at Chatsworth House on 11th July 2012.  Damien was reading “St. Dismas” by Dan Chaon. (which is surprising as he read First Person Shooter at Adam Street, and then again at Latitude!)

The white tshirt should've given it away!  So aren't there any pics from the Adam Street?

He was playing Giovanni in Tis Pity She's a Whore at the Westport Playhouse. He got the call just before he was about to go onstage, I think.
