Here are some existing recordings of Damien reading with WordTheatre below:
It's excellent to see that Damien has his own WordTheatre profile page.....and that they've started to release some audio collections. I guess we'll have to wait for the Sunday Times EFG Short Story Award Vol.2? I wonder if there'll be any other recordings of Damien...fingers crossed!
Listening to Damien on the radio....and the prospect of another wordtheatre event have reminded me of this. There's still no sign of these recordings on the Audible website.....and I would so love to get my hands on some Damo recordings! I wonder what they mean by soon?!
oh yes, yes please! Would love to hear all of his recordings. Love that he has a profile on their website.

I check the site regularly, but may contact WordTheatre to find out more about the Audible collections. All Damien audio recordings would be VERY popular!
Thanks for the prompt Kallie, I recently email WordTheatre about the audio for 'Heartstrings Bittersweet Love Stories' and recieved this reply:
Thank you so much for your interest in our audio recordings. We do have them, but we have yet to place them in a collection for publishing on Audible. The exciting news is that they should be coming out in the very near future! You can check out WordTheatre on Audible.com every other month or so to see our new collections.
"The very near future" sounds promising, I noticed there have been no additions to WordTheatre's Audible page since November 2014. so it is long overdue!
hah, just posted on another thread about them "owing us".

Yes, I've only heard Damien reading on the radio and on the Raven audio book. I've never seen him reading live but I have seen the clip on YouTube of First Person Shooter at Latitude. I particularly enjoy the 'heckles' which Damien, ever the professional, completely ignores! I think my favourite is when someone shouts out " You're quite hot". Sorry, 'quite'?!?!
Rosie my favorite is when he asks 'Jeanine' out and someone in the audience yells 'yes'! lol

Just to update everyone, news from WordTheatre in response to my follow up on Damien recordings in their Audible collections:
We are currently on hold for releasing any new collections as we develop our current collection promotions. We hope to start back up again towards the end of the summer if not sooner, and we appreciate you following up!
This is frustratingly slow to materialise! This time last year I assumed that the first audio recording I would own of Damien would be from WordTheatre.....and then fantom snuck in all sneakily with Raven and beat them to it! Sometimes its kinda nice to not know about these things until they're about to be released........the wait can just be agonizing!3

Ha - yeah the heckles definitely add a bit of atmosphere......you don't get much of that at a WordTheatre event! Would like to add my total appreciation of the person who thought of fiming this......and sharing it with everyone on youtube - what a star!! It really is a pleasure to be able to watch as well as hear Damien reading. I love the way he keeps looking back at the camera once he's seen it......
