I had a dream last night that Damien was filming a "What happened to Flight" mini episode! well... a girl can dream!
(Now Ripper Street is with Amazon they could / should so do this!)

Maybe your dream will continue tonight, domino! I once dreamt about an episode of Ripper Street where the major storyline was that Inspector Reid bought a tin of biscuits for his men at Leman Street! I'm not sure a career in scriptwriting beckons any time soon!

There is a picture of another new actor for Ripper Street on Twitter but I cannot bring it over. Don't know who it is but he has police uniform on.  no

Looks like a Hobbs substitute. I loved Hobbs. Everybody loved Hobbs.  And it was absolutely horrible how he died. I loved Flight.  They didn't make it easy to love him, between his involvement in Merrick's death in the very first episode he was on, his attitude, the dismissive treatment by the main three, and all the way to his final betrayal. Even Jackson's comment "He aint Hobbs." seemed pointed at making Flight dislikable.  Had I not been a fan of Damien already, I probably would have hated Flight for his role in Shine's actions and his betrayal, which is the impression I got from many online comments. So I wonder if they are going back to a fresh faced newbie regular copper [without secret agenda] as a way to appease audience?

Also, I hadn't seen it till today, and maybe someone else did, there was a tweet last month that Leanne Best is reprising her role on Ripper Street.  Which makes me happy, I like her.

I actually loved Flight more when his dark secrets were revealed!

I think the fresh faced new constable should be fearful - it never seems to end well for the newbie!

I'm not sure I can wait that long! Everything I've seen so far has made me really excited (apart from the lack of Flight!) and I would hate knowing that other people would have seen something that I haven't!

The reaction from the premiere last night all sounds really positive and is making me even more excited. I think I have figured a way to watch it on Amazon, thanks to one of my friends, although it does mean coming in to work to watch it!

wow... only 4 days to find out if Flight is but a distant memory on the streets of Whitechapel, or if his cliffhanger storyline is addressed! What happened to Flight? Let's hope we find out!

Will there be a separate topic to discuss Ripper Street 3 so that people who are waiting to watch on BBC don't see any accidental spoilers or will we be carrying on the conversation here but with warnings?
