yep. unless they break their airing pattern that's been ongoing on Wednesday nights since April, it will be new. And it is billed as "new episode". So unless they change it at the last minute..... i think it could well be series 4.
Update to the Suspects situation on channel 7Two in Australia: They have changed the scheduling! The previously advertised 2 hour "new episode" of Suspects on their website has now been removed and on all TV guides!
Hmm.. this suggests to me it was going to be Series 4!
I just need to say on a personal note if I have been coming across as over focussed (ok obsessed) with this issue of 'which episode is airing in Australia' and maybe a bit frustrated (ok super frustrated) it is because I could not stand the idea of Suspects Series 4 airing anywhere in the world without the promotion and publicity it and all those who created it deserve!!!
I've been chastising myself for possibly overreacting but actually.... no! I am gonna say it again because it's right: Suspects, in fact any series, shouldn't be airing anywhere in the world without the promotion and publicity it and all those who created it deserve!!!
In fact I feel so strongly about that it makes my breathing go funny and my pulse race! They may even be nostril flaring and a slight prick of angry tears!
I want to be able to share on the DMF pages and Suspects TV Show pages the right info and spread the word, build excitement, make a noise!
Suspects deserves a fuss made of it, properly, not just slipped in through the back door!!!!!!
Oh you rant away, domino! I agree with you totally. Before s2 aired there was some noise about the series....proper promotion - but they seem to have lapsed into apathy. Odd considering the viewing figures which it pulled in for ch5!
If there really is going to be a s5, then it would surely be in their interests to make some noise about s4!! It's the end of July now and we've heard nothing - how long do they expect summer to last?!
Channel 5 have promoted each series fifi - we had promo photos, trailers, FB videos and tweets. The forum was also gifted with some exclusive clips, so I personally am not referring to what has gone before. Channel 5 will def be promoting series 4 when it comes! It is a separate frustration with not knowing when it is going to air, and not for me on the same level or what I was ranting about in my last post, so I need to clarify the difference.
The situation with Australia was different...it looked as if Series 4 was going to air, with simply not a mention whatsoever anywhere ...and as someone running fanpages for the show I couldn;t even pick up the slack because zero info.
I agree with you, Domino, in your belief that promotion is a way of respecting the efforts made by those who create a program. Creative people like to have their creativity recognized!
Suspects is a unique tv program, an original concept that has been increasingly well-executed, and it deserves to be promoted and encouraged. People work their tails off to make Suspects, and to make it with all the quality they can.
You stay on that soapbox as long as you want! I'm with you!

So, the schedule changed and the previously advertised new episode of Suspects was no longer showing as airing at 11pm 29 July on 7TWO Australia. But, the episode is available on the Channel 7 player!
So.....this means that it hasn't been aired on a tv channel, but is available online in Australia??! Ppft! That is so not right in so many ways! Although I must admit that part of me finds it strangely exciting to think that it's been released into the wild! Kinda ramps up the anticipation. Surely it can't be long before channel 5 show it?!
What, what, what?! So s4 has been returned to captivity. lol!
Sounds a lot like it shouldn't have been there in the first place....maybe they didn't realise it'd been rescheduled. The words arse and elbow spring to mind! Kinda pleased...but at the same time disappointed. Wonder how many lucky people got to see it.
