I tweeted him asking if it was entire series & he clarified 2 episodes. So at that rate Suspects filming for just another 2 weeks!

I'm confused

So....have they finished filming or not?  Does this mean they're only filming 2 eps, or that's all they've filmed so far?

If they're only filming 2 eps in total, that would make 6 unaired eps.....could that mean that the series 5 listed on IMDB is, in reality, S4 with an extra 2 eps added.  And that's why S4 hasn't been aired yet....??  Please somebody tell me that's not right!!

I assumed it means he only directed 2 episodes of the 6 and someone else would direct others.  So far in 3 series they've had 5 directors.  I would attach an imdb screenshot but still relegated to my phone and it's not letting me add attachments.

Maybe they will do a mixture of episodes from the previously filmed and these new ones as a S4 in Jan/Feb then save S5 for August to coincide with how they scheduled before.

Each series so far has had at least 2 directors, same for S4 & 5.

Series 1: Craig Pickles & John Hardwick
Series 2: Craig Pickles & Fiona Walton
Series 3: Craig Pickles & John Hardwick
Series 4: John Hardwick, Sylvie Boden & Craig Pickles
Series 5: Fiona Walton, Craig Pickles, Steve Hughes (eps 4 & 5)

Steve Hughes is also credited as writer and co-creator alongside Darren Fairhurst and Pail Marquess for every series.

 

Also, Cast are beginning to be added to the Suspects Series 5  imdb pages!
