Victims - Being Human Fanfic

"Don't get me wrong," Bad Hal said. "I've killed entire phonebooks of people." Here are some of them, from their perspective or his.

These are mostly canon, though some are a little different, (and I got a bit distracted by my OC for a couple of chapters).

Some of the characters have been done better by other writers, but I love how much potential there is in a show like Being Human, little throwaway lines that can be turned into whole stories.

Hope you like!

Completely forgotten that I hadn't commented on this, Aradia. I really enjoyed reading these stories. So well written and lots of detail to draw you in. The story about Sylvie was particularly chilling.

I remember reading the Sylvie one when you first published it and thinking damn it, my version isn't going to be as good!  Love the details of Hal going around barefoot - so carefree compared to his "good" self - and the encounter with the last maid.  Very much in character and chilling indeed!

I'm not sure I caught up on all the victims.  Will check it out soon.

Oh, thank you whimsyfox!
I have to say, reading your Hal/Sylvie story made me feel very lazy! I just 'skipped to the end' as I'm far too impatient a writer to commit to something that long and so wonderfully detailed, but you do it beautifully. I'm sort of holding my breath to see how you end it.

Aradia, thank you for those kind words! smile I didn't know you had read it. It's funny, in the beginning I too skipped to the very end (that was the first scene I wrote out) and then envisioned a quick 7 chapters to paint a picture of a happy life together. Then it just sorta got away from me as I realized I wanted to spend more time with them.  And I wanted them to spend more time with each other...  I've indulged some things past what I probably should have.  But indulging is the whole reason I wrote it!

I really must finish. The penultimate chapter is written and even proofed by my betas.  But I did not want to release that one without having the last one ready to post as well.  Would be a disservice to posted it and then take another 6 months on the end.  I have been thinking about the final chapter on and off last two weeks.  It's morphed a bit since that first draft and there are still some details my mind keeps dithering about. Real life just hasn't afforded me the opportunity to be in the right mindset to settle down and finalize it. But your words did send a little thrill of excitement to get back to it. I guess that's what I need. A kick in the pants! Lol

I only just realised I hadn't reviewed it, sorry! I'm really bad at doing that with ongoing fics. But I really loved how much attention to detail you put in, not just character and plot details but also the historical ones.
I'll try to be better at writing reviews!
