Well, this place can always surprises me.. I have never seen that pic! I love it! At least I don't have any memory of it!
Damien could be actually quite good choice as older Harry, he has the same look, with make up and some hair work he could look like Harry. And that man is very talented actor so I wouldn't be surprised if he could adapt in Harry's shoes quite well! He also like to play these little bit tormented people...
But also, if he could be in this play that would be huge thing. I mean this is play which after Hamlet Barbican (which I saw this Monday in cinemas trough nt live and it was very good) causes massive global hysteria and so many people want to see and hear everything what happens innit.

Jozie, that was a Diorama Friday photo, if I remember correctly. Damien did a few of them when he was filming Being Human. I could be wrong, but I think that's where it originated.
Check out the Twitter hashtag #dioramaFriday. There are some good ones!
The Being Human family was such a great place for Damien to get started down the road to stardom! The Harry Potter family would be another great family for him to join.

I am glad we can still surprise you Jozie! After 3 years of DaMo delights, the forum has become quite the treasure chest!
The photo was posted by Lals Cotton (part of the BH creative team) on twitter - we have a topic on it here.
I completely agree with you about Damien being perfect to play the older Harry, obvious bias aside, his age, his look and his unique talent at portraying the more conflicted characters would be perfect. Struggling to think of other actors.. maybe Colin Morgan?
It ouwld be a huge commitment, so big it would be a bit like being the next Dr Who! It is hard to imagine play not running for a long long time...
I agree this'll run for a long, long time. I think it's already completely sold out til jan 2017 with just a few (if any by now) tickets left until May 2017. And it's in 2 parts....either matinee/evening or consecutive nights - so whoever does get cast is in for a long slog of it!
I had hoped to get tickets as a christmas present for my daughter.....but pretty much gave up on that idea!!
Thanks for the info behind this pic TJ and domino! Always something new to discover here!
domino, I was talking about this few days ago with my friend, I'm definitely sure this will be on NT Live, there are so many Harry Potter fans and only handful are able to even to buy a ticket to this play, and the part 2, so I'm sure they will do something so everyone will have their change to experience this play in movie theaters at least.
But I have to say, this must be amazing experience and everyone who will make it there are so lucky!
They sold out indeed, many disappointed fans who tried to purchase ticket but the site fell down and everything was sold out quickly. I read about this ticket mania in the the Irish Examiner and noticed this in the end of the story:
"For those who miss out, there will be a weekly release online of 20 tickets for each performance every Friday at 1pm and a day ticket lottery with a further 20 seats released for the duration of its run."
So there might be little change to still get the ticket to this play but it might be thin one.
Hi Jozie, thanks for the ticket update - it is going to be madness with just 20 tickets up for grabs!
it won't be NT Live as it is not at the National Theatre. But the equivalent , surely ? having said that, The Commitments has just ended a 2 year run and not sure that had a broadcast! Any theatre experts out there know if The Palace Theatre does ant cinema broadcasts?
