So much excellent Jacksass in this episode! It's like they were saving it all up for the end of the series. I loved Jack sucking up to Martha; his old woman impression (we already know Damien is the man of a thousand voices) ...
Well that was a fantastic episode! So much #Jacksass!!! As others mentioned, the failed attempt to kiss up to Martha was a funny moment, and the "write this down". Also when he comes in with some CCTV "from my private collection". And some good sass from Charlie too. I need to rewatch to catch the half of dialogue I missed (as usual). He was way over exaggerating being out of breath after that chase, surely, with how much he is into fitness. Though based on the crazy hair evidence, this was a S1 episode, so he could have been a bit less fit then. Lol
This storyline wasn't as implausible as the ones I didn't care for earlier. Though I can't figure out why they were in full forensic gear at the beginning. They never have before, in worse crime scenes. Funny, I knew fairly early that the old lady must have been involved in the drug operation if she had cash stashed away.
The episode ended way too abruptly, though I thought it was a nice touch that it didn't end up in the office as usual. A few different angles this time spiced up the filming.
It was disappointing not to have a "coming soon". Certainly left me wanting more!

Oh yes Charlie sass was brilliant too, especially at the end with Thomas Coombes' character! lol.
There was even more grittiness in last night's episode I felt, not the crime itself but the presenting of the story and the investigation, including the ending not being neatly tied up. The fly on the wall camera was superb.
Jack was as always compelling to watch in the interview room.. the way he switches up his approach to try to get the suspects to open up.
Considering that they had found out about Romario's drug links and finding the weed in his flat, when Jack asked him if he wanted a smoke I honestly wondered for a split second if he meant a joint! lol! It was the conspiratorial way he asked him, lowering his voice.. but of course not.. it is all on camera and Jack is a policeman But I think this was only because we know Jack can sometimes do whatever it takes to get results and I wondered if this was another shady Jack moment!
The Jack and Romario interviews were some of my fave bits of this episode. Especially that part others of you have mentioned!
"Detective. Sargeant. Jack. Weston... keep writing.. is. a nice guy"
He was quite amusing this episode. If I can get some time this evening I might make a gif.

A great final episode for the series. I guess that's the closest Suspects is likely to get to a happy ending....and nobody died! It was definitely the least tense and most light-hearted episode of the series. Lots of Jack (and Charlie) sass. Tho I agree with whimsy that it seemed to finish quite abruptly, and it is oddly disappointing that there were no 'on the roof' scenes in the whole series....
Interesting that there was no s5 announcement at the end. I hope we don't have to wait a whole year for it.
