Synopsis

The hospital's resident Irish curry chef Anthony lays on an evening of deliciously spicy delights - but as the meal descends into chaos, it's not just the curry that ends up on the floor.

Meanwhile, Fred introduces everyone to his new boyfriend Will, Lulu and Kate have a heart to heart, Melody reveals her secret relationship with Colin, and Anthony and Kate experiment in the bedroom.

science experiment surely?

Is it freakish that I am letting my mind wander more over the fact that Anthony is a chef? It makes me so happy! This synopsis makes it sound like he is just the one who cooks in the group. But Damien deffo says chef in the bts interviews. Where I think the bedroom experimenting is also mentioned by PWB...

So excited for this one for reasons, plus Kathy Burke and Lachie Chapman ! It's going to be totes amaze!!

I love the line in the trailer where Anthony says "so you haven't been in love with me everyday since you were 14? OK, so I may have misjudged this". It's the way he says it that makes me chuckle.

 I was just wondering about this line Rosie ! For the life of me I can't work out what Anthony says right at the end, the word "misjudged" is def there, but the rest I am not so sure.. sounds like "I guess I misjudged" or "well this was misjudged" ??

Either way... ooooh to Lulu and Anthony having what looks, finally, like an open talk about feelings and stuff!?

 Yes it does sound more like that to me fifi... just guesswork but could this be after Aunt Gladys tells Anthony "Lulu always said you'd end up together" ???

I was cringing so much through the awkwardness of the curry night. I found Lulu much more annoying this week. Anthony's crying sex was very sweet and funny though!

I couldn't work out what Anthony said when he told Lulu not to have sex with Sam. Did he say I don't want to catch something or I don't want you to catch something?

Currycane! What an episode! Hmm... The trailer gave mixed signals about what's going to happen tonight's ep and I was so surprised that whole episode was about the dinner scene!

Liked the scene where Anthony talked Sam about Lulu, same one retweeted about. Thumbs up! wink

I liked the episode, I was holding my breath all the time! Kate was kind of ruining the mood but Lulu was being little bit annoying too. It was fun to watch but I felt sad for so many times for both of them. Mostly for Anthony. Cause he seems to be serious with Kate and it looks like "the fun is over" and he was very.. angry? At this episode...

I have to say, when he was giving hard talk to Lulu about Kate, I actually scared him for the first time. He was like really scary.. Not sure what would have happen if Fred's date wouldn't interrupt them... Who was btw really cute and adorable! When he was singing to Fred it was nice, he almost saved the night but in the end he couldn't... 

Melody and Colin are super cute. I was so sad when Colin left the party and really touched when he came back to Melody in the end... 

Sam throw up some good lines when he was turned on about Melody's sayings biggrin

The popping noise which Lulu made after she said "You can call me Fred" made me like her again cause I really had mixed feelings about her in this episode.. Liking her... not liking her... Liking her....

Wow.. I need a re-watch to take all of this one in! Hilarious.. and tragic! Totally awks! And Anthony.... so much going on .. and he is totally beginning to lose it! That scene with Lulu! Scary! His precious curry! Phoebe W-B is a true talent, genius, on the edge writing! All of the cast were indredible tonight.

Slightly confused that the trailer showed others scenes, so kept waiting for them to come... (no pun intended..)

Have to say, best episode yet. The first half was brilliant and I was laughing even more than I was cringing(which was a lot!). The front and back garden stuff had me in total stitches.

It was great to get them all around the table interacting and it made us see that these people aren't friends really, they've just been thrown in together. There's affection between them of course but so much annoyance too!

Other points -

- Lulu is a curious one alright. I've now decided she's not just aloof, she lacks self awareness!
- Go Fred! He's really standing up to Sam now
- Sam is rather hot isn't he?
- Kate is still annoying . Perhaps its that I find she mugs too much to the camera
- Anthony is clearly jealous of Sam. Sam is clearly jealous of anyone who gets attention from Fred, Kate is jealous of Lulu....

OH. MY. GOD.

I think I need a while to recover from that episode.  

How can I have laughed so hard and yet feel sick to my stomach at how unbelievably AWKWARD that was.
