Wow!!  That is intense.  A pretty big adrenalin hit for such a short clip!!  And totally mesmerising.  As a first glimpse that certainly doesn't disappoint.....and - as Ellie said - I'm loving that the first clip we see is Damien! smile

Why are my favorite Damien scenes ones that involve guns?  What does that say about me?  It's like, I don't know, it ratchets up the intensity with him somehow.

YES! Intense, adrenalising, ... and gripping, suspenseful, gasp-worthy!

Fifi 'mesmerising' is the perfect word, since watching it yesterday I've been in a kind of daze, the intensity must release endorphins or something because I'm euphoric - it's ecstatically hypnotising!

So...After watching this for ......... times, the brain is beginning to kick in... at what point does this come in the film? It must be nearer the end than the beginning if the two men are on a mission together and Paddy is being told to shoot Joe? who is talking to Paddy in his earpiece? and what happens at the end of the clip? Watch closely.......

I watched this clip again with headphones to fully hear the dialogue and music. I love how the music subtly adds to the tension. I like how you can't properly hear what Paddy is being told which increases the tension. What is Paddy being told to do which is worse than shooting him?! So intrigued...

 I loved both of those things RP.  They both contribute to making this clip so intense.

Agree with all.  What I want to know, if this is only the first clip they decided to tease us with, how much more intense is the rest of the movie!

Yes yes and yes! It has the whole package - the music, the intensity, the suspense, the tension. sweary, sweaty, angsty DaMo. The photography is also stunning...

and is this from early on in the film or later? (smudgy makeup suggests the latter?)

Must have watched this about half a dozen times ow, still grips me as much as the first time. It's Damien's eyes - they are so expressive.
The only thing is I've watched it so many times that the glitch at the beginning where it repeats is starting to irk - but I'll keep on watching!

I noticed that glitch on the Youtube video too Ellie, it repeats at the 0.31 mark - it is great to have the clip on YT but a re upload would be welcome (I've contacted Scannain, maybe nobody informed them, I know what's that's like!)

Meanwhile...it's best to watch it from the source and in HD on Deadline
