Damien recently sent a me a package with a lovely note thanking me for the forum sunflowers, and for my support through DMF. Enclosed were some utterly epic mementos from projects he has been involved in.
ALSO INCLUDED were a bundle of exciting items for a future charity fundraiser prize draw - so watch this space!
On the right side of the note, which was on the postcard below with his new headshot, Damien added a list of all the items, which I've covered over in the photo below so as not to spoil the surprise.

And of course you deserve all this and more Domino ;) You do great things and this forum is incredible. This forum is a very lovely fandom. And from experiences with fandoms most are filled with nasty people, half bothered websites, abandoned blogs and false information.

Just when I think I can't love the man any more! What an incredibly lovely thing for him to do!!! He's always been a generous, stand-up guy with his fans, but this gesture brings tears to my eyes. I concur, this is a remarkable fan forum you've built, tirelessly, from the ground up. A wonderful resource chock full of his professional news, a warm, upbeat place for fans to congregate. I like that it is relatively small too, where friendships have bloomed. I've been involved in several other fandoms and forums/chatgroups; this is a place like none other. It is heartwarming that Damien appreciates it, and you, just as we do.
Now it really is official, you've been crowned webmistress domino with Hal's domino!

That is amazing domino! What an incredibly lovely thing for Damien to do....and I agree with everyone that it's great to see that he appreciates the forum, and the fundraisers, and - most importantly - the work which you do to make it all happen! This is indeed a wonderful, friendly place
It's fantastic that he got the whole cast to sign a No Man's Land programme....but - HAL'S DOMINO!!!!!!! Nobody deserves to have it more than you do - "you've been crowned webmistress domino with Hal's domino!" - is spot on!! The thought that you actually have Hal's actual domino (signed, no less!!) is giving me palpitations!!
It really is the nicest forum. It's so friendly and intimate. I have peeked in on some other forums and this one (and the Being Human one that Su had) are the only ones I've felt secure enough to join in on.
The signed program is fantastic and that Hal domino is the ultimate gift. Those sunflowers really must have made his day. Brilliant idea, Domino! And I'm so glad I got to be a part of making Damo's day.

Domino, that is truly wonderful and you deserve it so much. Hal's domino for domino - ahhh, I just melted! And getting everyone to sign the programme specially - how marvellous that Damien cares enough to do that!
Everyone is so right - you have created a really friendly forum, no bitching or nastiness. We even disagree without falling out at all, and everyone is so supportive of each other. You should be proud, that's quite an accomplishment in itself. This is by far the nicest forum I've ever been on.
It's just great that Damien appreciates everything you have done, not just for him through the forum but for all of us.
Just to give everyone an update on the charity fundraiser I mentioned at the beginning of this topic.
Marvelous Mod Rosie (RPLovesIpswich) and I have been plotting and planning over recent weeks and are in the process of organising a charity prize draw, will all the exciting memorabilia sent by Damien.
There is still a bit more to do, but we hope to launch this some time in October!
I think you will all be very excited about the prizes and hope you all get behind the causes we have picked this time.
These prizes really are spectacular!!! Actual things that belonged to the man himself!! He has touched them! You could clone him from the DNA on them and make your own Damien! (OK, maybe that's a bit too weird even for me!). But all the prizes in the fundraiser are incredible and can't wait to see how excited you are all going to be when the fundraiser is launched. And just imagine the warm glow you'll get from knowing that you will be helping people by supporting the charities at the same time.
