(oh, and, that smile..)
15. Date interrupted (Episode 6)
The chemistry between Marcella and Jon during the last part of their daytime date before they are interrupted.
(Oh, and that smile...(Oh come on... you're thinking it too....))
16. I do a package (Episode 6)
The final words of the series which give us hope for more Joncella:
Marcella: Maybe I wasn’t as ready as I thought I was..
Jon: Maybe I rushed you
Marcella: ..probably gonna need more lessons
Jon: Loads, you’ll need loads, like certainly more than five, hopefully less than ten
ah, that was not so easy now. I liked the whole series so much. But I had already written somewhere that I found this scene so funny. but of course I love his smile so much.
This is tough. It's really tough but I went with "Why Not" because it's the first hint we get that Jon is into Marcella. I love that it appears to have really taken her off guard.

this is the first scene for me, in which it becomes clear that Jon can also be funny and has humor. and that there is more in him than anyone has thought before.

For me it's a toss up between 6 " Those eggs are broken" and 11 "Jesus". Not that I'm disregarding any of the others, of course, but if I had to pick only one it would have to be - Those two! Joint favourites and I'm totally unable to choose between them!
So many laugh out loud moments, domino, I don't know how you managed to whittle them down to a mere 17 😀
I think this might be the most fiendish poll yet, domino! All of those moments are wonderful for so many reasons (that smile being one of them!). I'm going to have to go with the one that gave me so much joy - Nessun Dorma! I just had the biggest smile on my face watching that scene!
So, totally shallow choice, but for me it had to be the scene in Marcella's flat which seemed so naturalistic and spontaneous, with the 'I think you've given me a tromboner' line and the delightfully surprising "wanteeeed! singing!
What helped me decide? We all discussed whether Damien came up with those himself, and IMDb has confirmed it - Damien has a writing credit for Episode 4 'Spider' ! This makes me very happy!!
But, I could nt decide between the two so i've slightly cheated and voted for 1 from my domino account and 1 from the admin account (Owners priveleges )

oh, wow, that's great.
and I still have to laugh about the fact that I did not understand that at all and it took me a long time to understand why you all thought it was so funny.

Well, thank god for the Urban Dictionary Sana!
We all said that scene was so spontaneous, I love how Damien has been credited with some of those lines (we can only guess the tromboner line!) and how Roisin's laughter was probably not 'acting' !
