It sure does Ellie! I guess we could be wrongly assuming he is the actorly element, maybe he is actually "shooting" it(!), but other than that, it seems a safe assumption.
I'm really delighted Damien is involved in such a brilliant, relevant and important project. It's not an easy subject matter, but so important, and this film could be really instrumental in raising awareness and creating change. Good for him!
It's a bit of a shame we (as individuals and as a fandom) didn't know about it at the crowdfunding stage, I would so love to have contributed. But I guess there could always have been the risk of what happened with FELL when Damien had to withdraw due to other work commitments.
It will be really interesting to watch this film. It's such an important topic and it's wonderful to see Damien taking part. Hopefully it will prompt a lot of important discussions.
It is really lovely to see so much about the behind the scenes workers, usually it's just the actors. So many people involved, really amazing. It makes me wonder about all those in a full length production.
At one time at the end of a film or tv series the crew were all listed and the screen moved slowly enough so you could read who was involved, now it just zips up and you just can't keep track. Everyone involved here seems to be valued, it's really good.
Very well said Ellie, you verbalised it perfectly. Also, the energy coming from the photos and everything we have seen so far about the film is really positive, collaborative, authentic. It's so good to feel excited about something with a great team behind it!
Sounding better and better! I hope we get a chance to see this.
Fingers crossed Ellie According to the crowdfunding page distribution will not only involve educational establishments but also Film festivals and there will be a "Derby premiere for Keep Breathing and send it to local film screenings such as Five Lamps Films in Derby, Short Stack in Nottingham, Showroom Shorts in Sheffield as well as many others."
The BFI network has film hubs all over the UK, but Film hub North stands the greatest chance! This will totally raise the profile and reach of the film though and is excellent news!
