Great news. I almost overlooked that. However, this is a channel that we like to see. I just imagine a preview coming and I see Jon and Marcella on my TV, the biscuit would have fallen out of my hand.
On this website you really can't see if it's just series 1. But on the homepage of the channel it is clear that also series 2 will be aired. Wonderful. And what is also great, it is broadcast in a two-channel sound. So that I can see/hear both languages. But I don't know yet if I can record it with two-channel sound. I am looking forward to the voice of Damien and of course to the translation of certain scenes. For example the great tromboner scene. I'm not sure the translators use the Urban Dictionary
Hi Sana, thanks for your comment! That is FABULOUS news that Series 2 will also be aired!
At the time of originally posting GameFace was not on the One website, but today I found it here. I can't see any mention of series 2 - am I looking on the right website or is it restricted as I am seeing it fro the UK? It would be great if you can you post a link, and or a screenshot! Thanks
Ooh I think I found it on the programm.ard.de website! Hope the below info is correct Sana, it wold be great if you can confirm (my German is very rusty!) thank you
Germany will have a double bill premiere of GameFace series 2
Hi Sana! Ooh so in the German broadcasts, the actors' voices are dubbed? I guess I assumed it would be subtitled! (which I prefer when it is the other way around!).
It looks like all of series 1 is broadcast 3 October and all of series 2 on 24 October, at night and early morning - this seems like a weird time to me, but I guess they are available to watch on demand / catchup afterwards? It would be really good if you could share the exact dates and the times and whether it will be available afterwards Sana, thanks so much!
The trailer can be seen online. If you look at the website you can see it. Or is he even only in Germany? Yes, the series is dubbed. That's the great thing about the Channel ONE. You can choose, via the settings on the TV, whether you want to watch in german or original. That's why I'm so excited about the voice and the translation
Oh yes! Thank you Sana, the trailer wasn't on there before, but it is now! The dubbing is funny!
It's fab news that you can choose to watch in German or original I'm excited for GameFace to reach the German audience!
I saw that they show series 1 the other day. I didn’t know about series 2. That’s really great news! I’m really excited to see it in Germany! I’m definitely going to record it. I think I can just record it in German, though. Not sure if I’m going to watch it in English or original yet.

Series 2 Episode 2 'Pickle' 22.55, 31 October

Series 2 Episode 5 'Strange Plants' 02.45, 1 November
Series 2 Episode 6 'Wolf' 03.10, 1 November
Sana and HLH I hope this is correct and will it be available to watch online afterwards too?
Hi domino! *waves* It's good to be on here again. It's so exciting to get the series over here!
Yes, Series 1 premiered on Thursday with a double bill at 22.30. Then they showed the whole of it at night. There will be a double bill at 22.30 on 10 October and on 17 October.
You're right. Series 2 premieres on 31 October at 22.30, again with a double bill. At night, they'll show the whole series from 1.05. Episodes 3 and 4 will be shown again on 7 November at 22.35 and 22.55; and Episodes 5 and 6 on 14 November at 22.35 and 23.00.
Series 1 is available for a month to watch online in German and Original. I suppose this will be the same with Series 2 after it's aired.
I recorded it and on Sunday we watched all episodes one after another in German Even if you have recorded it, you can choose between the languages. Unfortunately I do not like the german voices. Even if they made an effort, a lot of emotions of the actors are lost. Nevertheless, it helped me to understand a few things better. Marcella talks so fast sometimes
I'm always so impressed by your english skills Sana - and all our non english forumers! But it is great you can watch GameFace in both languages and really understand every little bit of it!

Thanks .. yes, that really helps.
However, it was also interesting how some scenes were translated. For example, the TV license guy. There is no such thing in Germany and the neighbor named him Bailiff..

HA HA that's quite funny! So Damien's line right at the and of episode 3 is "I'm not the bailiff"? Luckily your english is so good you know the right translation Sana!
