Unseen photo of Damien recording Student Stories, 2012!

This brings back such great memories!

We were all super excited for Damien's first radio role in 'Student Stories' way back in 2012/2013.

He read one of the short stories written by students for the series, a BBC NI Radio Drama production

which aired on BBC Radio 4 January, 2013.

More info here and here.

Damien recorded it in December 2012, when this photo was taken.

Until now, I had not seen this photo of him during recording! It is the cover shot for 'Behind The Mike Student Stories' which features the writers of the stories (but not Damien ironically.)

I can't believe Me and The Devil was 2015, it only seems like 5 minutes ago! I thought it was spectacular. Such a sensitive, emotional and quietly powerful performance from Damien.

How time flies! Maybe 'Me and the Devil' feels more recent because it was broadcast again January 2019 Rosie?
