A release date is yet to be revealed, but with the same timescale as series 1 it would be this summer!
Keep Breathing
Damien appeared last year in crowdfunded short film inspired by the #MeToo movement, Keep Breathing, opposite Emmeline Hartley, as a woman and a man trapped in a lift and forced to confront their past behaviour. The film premiered at the underwire Film Festival and was selected for the BFI Film Festival.
Rumour has it the film will be widely available to watch online this summer!
The Fabric Of You
Last year Damien starred in his first short stop animation film (voicing the character Micheal)The Fabric Of You, written and directed by Josephine Lohoar Self and also starring Iain Glen, when it premiered at the Edinburgh Film Festival.
I'm looking forward to seeing Damien in The Split. Apart from Suspects we haven't seen him do much contemporary drama on TV. I think it looks like it will be really high quality drama.
I wonder if Damien will do any more theatre or radio dramas this year?
Oh me too Rosie, so so much. Every time I think of The Split I get butterflies! I was glued to the first series and can't wait to see where his character fits in the second series... and the family! I'm also excited to see Damien back on BBC One, after Ripper Street which was now over 6 years ago! wow...
After the cliff hangers at the end of Brassic I am so glad we won't be left hanging.. and there is lots of eager anticipation for the second series.. I'm hoping the timescales are not the same as series 1 and we won't have to wait until summer!
Really hoping that Keep Breathing and The Fabric Of You have a wide release as well...
Considering all of the above has already filmed, Damien has to be doing other projects in 2020, I too am curious about more theatre, and would love more radio projects!
I wonder if there will be more Brassic and also.... GAMEFACE SERIES 3? Or has Roisin moved on to other projects (Carewolves anyone?) how about Carewolves and 'Champires', helping hero supernaturals, with Roisin and Damien the leaders of each!
