OK, Damien is Irish, not British. So sue us. He's also not the only Irish hottie to play a vampire on Being Human — before Damien joined the cast there was Aiden Turner, who left the show to play a dwarf in The Hobbit. No matter what season you're watching, there will always be a drool-worthy man on your screen.
Anyone who loves the supernatural — we're looking at you, Vampire Diaries, True Blood, and Teen Wolffans — is sure to enjoy Being Human. The story of a vampire, a werewolf, and a ghost trying to make a normal life together, this character-driven show is unique in the current pantheon of supernatural shows because none of the main characters are human. That lends it a distinct flavor that feels fresh no matter how many other fantasy shows you watch. The vampires are especially interesting. No brooding love interests here — these hotties are the main event.
How much is there? Four seasons of 6-8 episodes each, with a fifth in the works!
How you can watch: The first three seasons are available on Netflix and Hulu+. Season 4 is available for purchase on Amazon Instant Video. The new season will air on BBC America.
Kath, I think they were more apologizing for homogenizing everyone.... and agree with you about the mispelling Lisa, it makes me inwardly cringe, but know I have made similar errors in the past (not with Aidan's name) so try to skip over it lightly.
What I found interesting about this article is the source site is American, and it is all good for Mr Molony's profile if he becomes a MEGA heartthrob in the land of Hollyweird!
Nice little article. I'm curious as to what other shows were listed. ... OKay, I just realised there was a link and now I know. I approve. I wondered if the other shows would bring it down and make the article nonsense!

I would love Damien to break Hollyweird, but perhaps not something like being kidnapped by Hobbits for 2 years...not that being on different shores would effect our dedication to following and support Damien's career, but a long project like that......
NO!!! don't get me wrong, seeing the lovely boy in Lord Of The Rings films would be fantastic but they take too long to make, he'd be out of circulation, IMHO not best idea at this point in his career. film though yes, if you please!!! Xx

I'm a huge Tolkien/Jackson fan, but we already gave one vampire to the cause.
p.s.: do you know what has been of Billy Boyd? I thought he was talented and promising back in the time, but after the trilogy and "Master & Commander" I never heard about him again
I'm alway surprised when actors I think should become mega stars don't. I can't imagine why they're not being snatched up. Timing and luck play their part. And maybe some don't want to go mega and are just happy doing what they're doing.

True...and I was thinking the other day about how television acting has become a pretty amazing thing to be part of in this country - look at someone like Benedict Cumberbatch, he has really successfully straddled the tv / film / theatre divide!
