'Tis coming up to that time of the year again when (without seeming to be bonkers) we can all raid the dressing up box and be the monsters we truly are!

Here at the forum this spookilicious day shall henceforth be known as

HAL-loween

and the HAL-loween season has definitely begun!

 

Why not celebrate this momentous occasion with us by creating something HAL-loween inspired to honour of our fave vampire.....

This could be a HAL-loween card, drawing, photo art or collage, a HAL-loween model, or even a cake (oh the HAL-loween wonders that you cake makers out there could come up with!!) So long as it is visual and scary and HAL.

Yes it is HalGal just something to get everyone in the HAL-loween spirit! the film is Nosferatu, early silent horror movie based on Bram Stoker's Dracula with all the glorious wide eyed, hunch shouldered, long fingered shadowy german expressionism you could ever dream of! It may be old, but it is scary in the way that silent movies are, and utterly classic in erm sof vampire movies, 1922, so nearly a century old and epic in terms of cinematic history!

I love old movies! Nosferatu is definetly one of my faves!!!! We are about to start watching it in my film history class and im so excited (Will definently be going to that class)! Ive been brain storming on a idea for this thread. So look out! lol

Oh BRAVO Sami!!! coolbounce this is brrrrrrrilliant!!!! so funny too and kinda cute!

I love your portrayal of our supernatural trio and the more I look the more I see! nice touch with the domino!! I could well imagine Tom doing this too!!! the scamp! LMAO

I am very gad you braved it Sami because your drawing is wonderful... and there is a definite distinctive style to your cartoons.. I would love to see more! Amazing that you could put your idea on paper like that, I have loads of ideas but no drawing skill to transfer it to the page!

Hopefully this is putting everyone else in a creative mood for HALloween?! fangs

Wow TJ! it may be tangentially HAL-loween (for those who do not know this is Damien as Giovanni in John Ford play 'Tis Pity She's A Whore for which,tangentially he won an award) but it is powerful stuff!

Great and gory work! fangs thank you for getting into the HALloween spirit and sharing with us!

These are really great, TJ yours looks like something from a horror movie hide and lozzie_lo yours is funny, Hal must love HALloween it's the only time he doesn't need to hide, but those kids at the door would need to RUUUN !!!!

Thanks domino.
My computer hates me! It just wouldn't download the file. I could attach any other picture, just not this one! I thought that maybe the file was too big and spent ages trying to reduce the file size (I still have no idea how I did that?). Finally got it to load, but it only gave me the option to 'remove', not 'insert'. I decided that the computer was probably as confused as me 'cos I'd tried to attach so may different files by then; but I did it eventually. I am (sadly) quite proud of myself!
