Cardiff Bay Casting Agency have asked us to spread the word about a fundraising event tonight, where the cast of Being Human will be attending. No info or guarantee as to whether Damien himself will be there, but he is filming in Cardiff at the moment.
The event is hosted at a school, but not run by the school, and the event is open to the public - anyone can attend. Funds from the tickets are going to a worthy cause. We first heard about this last week, but it felt a bit intrusive to promote it if it was just a local private event, but now we have been approached directly by the agency who are actively encouraging fans to attend, it feel like a good thing to share!
The event started just before 7. Damien, michael and kate were scheduled to arrive at about 8:15. They arrived at around 8:30 in the end. They lurked out in the corridor for a few minutes until they were announced by jerry (head of security). Jerry explained that they would be sat at the rear of the room and everyone should feel free to go and have signed piccies and have piccies taken with them
It was me, kath, mikey and monique sat together. We waited a little while to let the locals have some piccies and autographs. Then jerry told us to go up to encourage others to do the same! I did a little jig over to the table. There was a photographer there to take the pictures! I asked if i could have one and squeezed in between my 2 favourite boys Then had a very brief chat with damien whilst having a sideways cuddle
I asked him to sign a picture for me so while he did that i had a chat with kate! She was very chatty this time! She absolutely lovely and just rediculously beautiful in real life!
Had a little chat with Socha about the baby etc.
After id got all my signed pictures and stuff i went and sat back down as others were talking to them. Then only a couple of minutes later jerry announced that they were leaving and off they went!
It was a good event actually, was enjoyable and they made a good amount of money for charity! Also there was an auction and one of the lots was 'a day on the being human set'!

Yay Su! thanks for writing it all up and posting, it sounds like such a magical time! It is always so cool to hear that Damien, Micheal and Kate are all gorgeous on the inside as well as the outside, thank you to them for always being so lovely to the fans

Yes, I guess not long until the end of filming (where has the time gone?) just time for you to squeeze in your once in a lifetime day! If it is the final day..maybe there will be a party!
I agree with fifi - looking forward to hearign about the whole adventure Su - and other members who were there for various part of last week! We know you can do this without spoilers so we can all experience the wonder of it vicariously through you!
Reading the adventures of those who get to go, see, and do, is wonderful for me. I know I'll never get there in person, so I appreciate you sharing so generously.

Wait, u won a day on the BH set Su? Damn that is very cool !!!! The only thing I've ever won is a cuddly toy at a fair, u are a lucky lady Su can't wait to hear what it's like behind the scenes!!! :D x

Well, vampires are my favorite post-human, quasi-human sort of creature. And the waves of the Molony Effect are definitely far-reaching!
