yes, it is really so lovely and i will treasure it. I amnot really an autograph person, but this is special. should explain - bought this ticket for Damien's play, because although I cannot go, I want to support it and feel part of the forum trips somehow, and so I gave it to Laura and asked if it would be poss for Damien to sign it for me.
Thats amazing :D don't worry Domino i still have plans for the hole body guard thing xD ... oh fun times! its a good thing to treasure :) and you should frame it or some thing! :) x

Should be press and reviews after the press night uj, which is tonight! The comments on Twitter about the play, including among non Damien fans, are generally extremely positive, though I would not be surprised if there are gripes about the content, but that is the purpose and proof of good art, in my humble opinion, when it creates debate and best of all, controversy!
Thank you Jennster and Kayla, I already have a couple of Damien related frames so maybe this one is just something I will keep somewhere safe and get out occasionally when I need a smile 😀thankful to him for always being so generous to fans at the stage door and even making time for those if us who cannot be there.
And a quick question to every one. Where abouts is the stage door to the Royal court theater? i know i'm going to be their but id like to know so i don't flaff about and make more of a fool of myself xD

16 Feb, evening performance - Rougesang saw the play, her review is earlier on in this topic
23 Feb, matinee (today!) - Small group of bloggers watching the play as we speak
2 March, evening performance - massive mixed group of bloggers and forumers, Su, fifi, Becca, (Brookesey was just saying on twitter her and trev may also be going, and that means more pics ..squee!)
5 March, evening performance with post show talk- Forumers Laura, UJ and MattyP are going (and Damien mentioned to Laura he would probably be going)
9 March Kayla is going (with another forumer Kayla? matinee or evening?)
Anyone else? and please let me know if any of this is incorrect!
I've been fairly successful at keeping my excitement under control......that's a lie. I've been fairly successful at not constantly dancing around the room at the prospect of going to see Damien on stage next week. But with 7 days to go (train leaves in 7 days, 3 hours and about 3 mins!) it's getting difficult to control myself!
For anyone who didn't know myself and 4 other bloggers went to see Damien's play If You Don't Let Us Dream We Wont Let You Sleep yesterday afternoon. The play itself was fantastic I would reccomend that everyone who can goes to see it. You have a lot of information thrown at you and I didn't understand all of the banking terms but it was very funny and I never felt overwhelmed by the information or subject matter. Damien plays 3 different characters two with the Irish accent and one with a broad London accent. We went to the stage door afterwards. There were two girls from Greece in front of us and they spoke to Damien for a while but when he finally got to us he said he had been waiting for this because of all the tweets! I asked Damien if he got the flowers he was sent by the forum for his birthday and he said he had meant to tweet to say thankyou but just got caught up in everything and forgot, he did then tweet to say thanks. Damo loved the fact that the flowers were huge and all the other actors got jealous of his fans, he seems to enjoy playing around with his fellow cast about how good his BH fans are. While we were talking to him some of the cast came out and laughed to each other about Damien having so many people waiting for him. We spoke about how funny the play was and how the play was factual even though some of the things in the play are quite sad. He loved working at the Royal Court, he said it was a dream for him as he had always wanted to work there. He said that he had waited for weeks to tweet about getting the part because he was so excited about it! Damo also said that he would miss BH, especially the filming, but that the final episode was amazing. We asked him how he kept a straight face during the Last Fango in Paris and he said there is 11mins of out-takes of him, Michael and Kate just trying to get it together because it was so funny which he was given in DVD form and watched on his birthday. He was asked what he was doing next but he had nothing confirmed so didn't want to talk about it, he wouldn't even say if it was a play or TV so he does have something up his sleeve but doesn't want to tell people yet. We had some pictures and he signed some things then he said he was going off to watch the rugby and left. He must have been so cold bless him as he only had a small coat on but he stayed and talked to us for a good long while and he didn't complain about the cold once.
I'm sorry that there are a lot of 'he said' in that but he did say a lot. :)
Hello Vicki! welcome! lovely surprise to see you here and just loved reading your account of yesterday, it was so exciting reading your tweets as they came through on twitter thank you for sharing all that detail, amazing that you had such an epic chat with Damien after, the part about it being a dream come true for him to work at the Royal Court is awesome! thanks again for asking him about the flowers!
Oh wow! I so hope some of those 'Last Fango in Paris' outtakes make it to the series 5 DVD! what an epic birthday present for him though, you should have asked him to upload it to youtube! haha!
lots of great little insights VIcki, well done you for keeping it so together! Exciting about Damien's next project, truly believe he could do anything.
