I was just mulling over how different Hal is when he chucks Crumb out of the hotel than when he says they must find him whilst strapped to the chair. In the previous scene he really didn't look well.....and now I come to think of it (took a while!) he looks considerably healthier in ep 2. Does this mean that he's already drinking the blood that Rook gave him?

I find stuff with kids hard to watch, the Victorian boy and Alex's brothers had me in tears, for some reason I didn't laugh much in this episode, but I did think it was brilliant. At this point I'm not sure which way Hal will go but my bet is it gets even darker but I Hope he can come back from that !!!

Yes Alex's storyline this series is definitely providing the emotional drama so far. Although there is a constant background hum of sadness with all our main trio of characters as they try and often fail to lead 'normal', uneventful lives. I guess you could say that is what the hidden flask of blood, not mentioned again yet but we know is there, symbolizes?
Great episode. The scenes of Alex's brother's were very touching. The young boy is a very good actor. Loved the food fight:)
I loved the scenes with alex's brothers where she was watching them leave for school! i loved the fact we saw the arsenal tattoo too :') shame they didn't show more of it! id love to know how you spell arsenal with a 'K' aha!! x

I've been very disappointed in BBCA's lack of proper promotion for Being Human. Nothing tweeted or on FB last weekend, it was all Comic Con stuff, and for the first episode they re-tweeted Damien's second tweet, the "He Will Rise", but missed tweeting Damien's red breeches picture. :(
They also aren't sharing the Alex's Unfinished Business online episodes. US fans are not getting the proper Series 5 experience!
Don't get me started on the dubbing out of swear words and the gigantic logo for other shows clogging up a hefty portion of one corner of the screen....
I am SO thrilled I found a way to watch Live when S5 aired in the winter!
