It's just got to be Puttin on the Ritz for me. Not just because it is so wonderful in itself, but also because it was such a fantastic way to start the episode which I didn't want to watch! Does the little flourish at the end remind anyone else of Freddy Mercury? Or is it just me?!
Must admit that Work To Do comes a very close second.....
Puttin on a ritz was just so unexpected and that's why I loved it so much. We knew evil Hal would be pretty damn epic but who knew he could sing too! Added bonus :)

The other two are brilliant little glimpses into Hal being happy & content in his routines but Puttin on the Ritz is bad Hal unashamedly reveling in his glory. Such a great way to start the final episode.

For me it is a tricky one..each song represents a 'moment' for Hal and I love all 3.
Reach Out is a precious, hard won, rare, happy moment where Hal has found peace (albeit temporary) in domestic bliss! and it was just so unexpected and joyful to watch - I will never forget my first viewing of this in episode (S4 ep 5 Hold The Front Page) I literally jumped up and down on my seat clapping and squeeing! the feeling watching it was as glowy as the sun glinting off the spotless dishes! and the little bit of head dancng at the end ...
Work To Do will forever represent the moment when Hal and Alex first met, and he was so utterly contented and angst free, almost vibrant.. and at home in his own skin (rare for good Hal) and who can forget the air guitar mop, the hip wiggle, the amazing unfettered falsetto!
Puttin On The Ritz was the most complete in terms of length and song and dance routine from Damien..and just so ...decadent.. and glorious..and thrilling to watch!
But...... If Ia to go with my gut... for me it has to be the first time we saw Hal sing.....maybe it's the margolds..or the pitch of the falsetto...or that it took our Hal singing virginity... but that tiny glimpse went most deeply into my heart.
I think his Putting on The Ritz performance is in a league of its own. Its just so epic! It really showcases bad Hal's cynicalness (if that's even a word). His other two singing moments are just so adorable! I actually found it a bit difficult to pick a favourite!

Mm. Hard to choose. If it's about the 'moment', then I think I've got to give it to Work to Do. The contrast between air guitar to old fashioned gent, and Hal moving from one to the other without missing a beat, because that's Hal, is the personification of beauty.

Puttin' on the Ritz because it was just so...unexpected but at the same time something so typically 'Old One' ish, that an Old One would do to celebrate the return of Lord Hal. First time i watched that on the Blog i was literally sitting there with my mouth open. I've lost count how many times i've watched it since. I find myself singing it at the most inopportune times. The 'super duper' part remains my favourite part, that and the head toss at the end.
A work of pure absolute twisted genius. I can imagine the writers were giggling like absolute lunatics when they created that scene!
Puttin On the Ritz. For the record, I never ever have liked that song. But Damien/Hal actually singing it, his voice, - well now it's in my Being Human playlist! And his dance moves. That litte hip sashay when he jumps up and comes back down. And those shoulders. And the precise timing of the pool cue taps, And then that flamboyant head tilt.....It's all good!

I also like to vote for the underdog..not in all polls obviously. and as these are all ridiculously awesome... none are losers! How awesome would it be to have had the whole songs for Reach Out and Work To Do... wonder how many would vote differently if we did!
