Interesting to see which clips from his various roles Damien thinks are the ones to showcase. I was delighted to see "Puttin' on the Ritz" from "Being Human" as one of them. Just watching this made me realise, once again, that his talents are so varied; the differences between his roles in "Ripper Street", "Suspects" and "Being Human" are just amazing. I liked the little cameos from his 'short' films, too, and was pleased to see he has an agent in America - as long as that doesn't mean we lose him to the USA. This can only help him in his career.
That was amazing! What range he has! Great choices for the video. Who wouldn't hire him after seeing that, right? ;)
That video made my day, thank you!
It is interesting to see which clips were chosen to highlight his work. It was good to see the "not a man of god" scene and "Putting on the Ritz" in there and also one of my faves from Suspects "cage smoking scene".

papillon... pamplemousse... bibliothèque... un baiser A lilt in his voice. Every sentence like music... #kisskisskiss A terrible beauty is born. Love me some #Jacksass
It was about time that he had some new pictures. He's in his thirties now, not sure how long he could have kept getting away with the baby-faced pics ;)
Wow! I have to agree with you all, he has interesting choice of clips in that video! And that profile pic... You're right Rosie, it's about time he had new pics! What a lovely surprise!
Music & Dance: Ballet, Bass-Baritone, Waltz = highly skilled.. Well well well! And I knew he spoke France but I didn't know he spoke German! Scuba Diving and Stage Combat = these were new to me too!
The latest showreel is all sorts of awesome! I just rewatched Crashing at the beginning of December. Even more fun than the first time around!

Watching this I am still so entranced to see and hear every little nuance. Listening to this is absolute music to my ears.
He is so completely each character, and always so compelling and different.
I was saddened to see no Flight, however, as I do love that character. He is so quiet and soft-spoken, so destroyed by his guilt. I love how different he looks. He seems so young and he really is so tormented, yet it's completely different from Hal.
I believed that as Hal, he was over 500 years old. Not many who are able to portray characters in such this way. I also loved him in Tiger Raid. You didn't like him at all and yet you felt for him.
He slips into each role like a chameleon changing color. I'm constantly in awe. Love watching him on screen. Jack is brilliant, too, and Anthony, though he's a bit of a git and a ninny. I think he's just brilliant, and this is a great video to showcase his unique talent.
Off to check out the actual profile now
