I am completely with you on the corset-like equivalent for men. It would have made it a bit better knowing that they were suffering right along with the women.
I sure hope that his profile/picture will be featured on the site. It's something to look forward to and keep an eye on. I bet that he eventually will, especially when other Ripper Street fans start falling head over heels as we have.
Similar thoughts occurred to me, and it will be interesting to see how Damien's character is placed alongside the 3 male leads, because so far when Damien has been on screen he commands it, even with zero dialogue.
The first thought in my head upon seeing those pictures is that MyAnna must be tiny. She's wearing quite high heels in those pictures and she barely makes past Damien's shoulder height wise.
Has anyone watched Dexter? Severed limbs and other body parts are on the programme most episodes, particularly the first series, with the Ice Box Killer!
Serendipity that Ripper Street writer, director production assistant Mark Noonan posted the attached on twitter yesterday!
says it all really and kudos to the females actors who wear these things, in the heat of the summer, with a camera on their face And still looking so composed !
He worded it so vague. Not" I'm getting legless "nor "it's getting legless". So infuriating! Su, I do worry about that middle one a bit. The knee looks about right. LOL

I didn't think it was vague, but may have lost something in translation - although why anyone would want to go to the Notting Hill Carnival (even to get pissed) is beyond me, lol!
Seriously though.... Damien has never been one for revealing spoilers, so it is very unlikely that he would be giving a spoiler for his character?
Oh and Ok Hal (aka fifi) please give us a linguistically more accurate description than gore? I do see blood by the way! how about 'slight gore but not gore' warning?
Su, J-B, you're cracking me up. The leg in the middle, different angle to camera, facing the audience, is clearly the star leg, whosever it belongs to.

OK.... maybe 'dismembered limb alert' doesn't have quite the same ring to it! (I did say sorry!) I think creepy works quite well...but I'm not sure you can have a creep alert either!
That looks suspiciously like snow on the ground in the 'ladder' pic..... (still dreaming about that Christmas special...)
