Happy you are all enjoying them, it was so lovely of Phil t share and allow us to share them here too. It feels very special to see these when I was unable to join others on set visits and meeting the actors and Phil and other directors and crew. hug

oh yes please. that would be delightful... And seeing Damien and Mark Gattis work together again in anything would be INCREDIBLE.

I am torn between that pic and this one as my faves:

can you imagine the laughs they had on set? (so very far removed from the characters they played!)

That picture of Julian Barrat and Damien, all sunshiny... I have a great fondness for what Damien's eyes do when he's squinting in the sun. And damn that little crooked smile...

 

He SO looks scared in that picture with Mark Gatiss.  

 

The boys checking out the camera equipment - they look like they've been caught by their mum's doing something they shouldn't be doing.  LOVE IT.

oooooh, must have been awe inspiring to stand on that set!

That has to be about 8 ft wide by 10 ft tall.  I asked in my letter but obviously didn't get an answer... not that I was expecting one. LOL

What I love most about that last pic is how much of a scruff and a scamp Damien looks compared with Lord Hal in the poster. Hal would definitely not have accepted that lack of attention to one's appearance, lol!

Lo, yes a wonderful photo of contrasts between actor and character. Love Damien's hair, the messier the better! At the time i recall Damien saying how amazing he thought the artwork was, that must have been an overwhelming, fangtastic moment for him to see it when filming series 4!

Another contrast, Damien holding his iPhone... not quite a ceefax person!

That poster is an imposing sight, very awe inspiring.  I can imagine when he walked onto the set and first laid eyes on it what his reaction was. (having heard his manly squees and his cursing in the stage door video)  

Having worked with that image (trying to figure out the swirls of the hair in particular) I wish we could see the original photo they used of him to create the poster.

I guess an actor would get used to it, but I wonder how he felt/feels about seeing his face all the time everywhere.  Not as in when he's acting, such as looking at his own performance, but like when he signs photos, seeing people use his face on avi's, that sort of thing.  I suppose as an actor he's used to using his whole body, putting himself out there, but for me just seeing my own photo on my Twitter avi is slightly embarrassing!  Thankfully Damien doesn't seem to suffer from any self image problems (rightly so!)

It must be weird, yes. Seeing pics of yourself, say, around your house (and possibly those of your friends and family) are one thing but to walk in a room and see something like THAT, I know I'd be 'woah! That's mental' I suppose it becomes natural over time as you get used to it...and Damien's getting a slowish ramp up to being everywhere rather than 'POW!' So bit by bit he'll see more of himself around.
