I thought she was referring to Harry Potter star Alfie Enoch, who played a member of the Queen's guard! (but now we are goin wayyy off topic...)

Suffice to say, perhaps I am a little biased (no, really?) but the fact that these rumours (or wishful thinkings) are believeable, and we could see Damien in any of these roles, and more, is a testament to his talent! He is one of the most brightly shining young stars on British TV right now!

It's all speculative fun of course but as with the next Doctor rumours...it's clear the world thinks Damien is the man of the moment with the ample skills to deliver in these tiptop shows!

Sooo....not Sherlock then! lol.  Shame - that would have given me a lot of pleasure, especially as I didn't really expect it!

I'm sure I heard that filming has already started on Dr Who - but I presume that it won't be on until the autumn?  Lots of time for rumours and speculation....

Filming started last week on Doctor Who and if Damien is involved somewhere, as has been speculated, i doubt it will happen while he's appearing in 'BOA'

Not sure but given that there will be no breaks in transmission as last time, it's possible. If he's going to appear, then it may be towards the end of filming.

I've only just started watching Dr. Who and not totally into it, but I've watched this video over a half dozen times now.  Gives me chills, just wonderful!

The video left me pretty speechless yesterday, just stunning...and although we have all speculated and discussed it, seeing this video makes it far more tangible. And, seeing Damien as a character with Clara does look very right....he would make the perfect boyfriend or male comanion in Dr WHO.

He would. I love the editing of the whole thing, so seamless, you honestly can't see the joins. Makes me a little bit hopeful that if he is part of the Whoniverse, then it's as Clara's companion. I'd be happy with that.

I saw that too Pearl.  And I'm sorry - but I'm really rather pleased..... Damien absolutely deserves to be a lead character, not 'companion' to the supporting character!!
