(Please note: DVD contains the complete fifth series, with the full uncut original UK episodes. Extras include cast interviews, exclusive online episodes, deleted scenes and the ‘additional scene’ exclusive to the dvd. This is a region 2 dvd but it can be played on any multi region player, or by using vlc, a free to download, region-free media player for your computer.)

The Competition

We want you to make a homage to Hal and photograph yourself holding it. The forum will be making a gorgeous glossy ‘Homage to Hal’ photobook to send to Damien of ALL the competition entries. Each will have their own page, with the winning entry on the front cover.

1. Create a written ‘Homage to Hal’ and take a photograph of yourself holding it. It is up to you how much or little of yourself you hide in the photo, or where you photograph yourself holding it. You do not need to show your face, it could just be your hands holding the homage, as long as you are somehow holding it up in the final photo.

2. Your homage can be a short poem, quote, haiku, song lyric, a random collection words, a thank you, a message, anything that conveys how much Hal inspired you or why you are a fan.

3. Your forum username has to appear in the homage you hold up in your picture

4. Your homage can be handwritten or typed, or you can get creative, as long as your homage is clearly visible once photographed, the word limit is 200.

5. Please keep it appropriate - this is a homage to Damien's work as the character Hal, not a love letter, marriage proposal or thud fest.

How To Enter

To enter the competition please follow all of the steps below:

1. Post your homage on the Forum Fan Wall, as follows:

a) Post in this topic

b) Click ‘reply’ and write ‘My Homage to Hal’ in the comments box

c) Click on ‘add files’ and select your picture, that you have previously saved to your computer/laptop/tablet. Wait for it to upload and then click ‘submit’ at the bottom right.

Rules

1. Only 1 entry per person (multiple registrations will be monitored and only first entry counted)

2. First prize is a Being Human Series 5 DVD personalised by Damien Molony, 2 runners up prizes are a Hal/Being Human key ring

3. All entries will be added to a professionally made Damien Molony Forum photobook to be sent to Damien after the competition, the winning entry will be the cover photo. Photobook is A4 /standard letter page size, portrait orientation.

4. Winners are selected by the moderation team

5. Closing date is Saturday 14th September, winner announced Sunday 15th September

6. Competition is open internationally
