I think you're probably right, domino....I expect they're clips from the previously unaired eps. But when they start running the s2 trailer I anticipate that we'll get some clips from the 'special' - not only cos it'll be the first ep, but because they'll want to show off all of the 'guest stars' they've got lined up!
Just gotta say I've watched this trailer endlessly cos not only does it include some glimpses of suspects, but it's accompanied by the track which is currently my absolute favourite!

We had the Series 1 trailer on 3 Jan this year, 41 days before it premiered on 12 Feb. So if our guesses are correct that Series 2 airs the week beginning 18, 25 August or 1 September at a push... we should havd had our trailer 3 days ago at the latest! haha!
Just to add, I was convinced there would be a new Series 2 trailer shown last night, before Big Brother! I was obviously completely wrong! But it is coming!

Yes, but there will be a Suspects series 2 trailer, and the series 1 trailer was out 41 days before it premiered.
I say ad rather than trailer, as no new footage, just moving graphic with quotes from press and voice over "critically acclaimed drama Suspects coming soon to Channel 5".
Watching these trailers my heart is racing and chills going up and down my spine. It looks incredibly intense, cinematography looks more lush. I'm getting jumpy with anticipation to watch these episodes!
