Aww what a lovely interview! Wonderful to hear that he was able to do some real deep research into the role! It really does sound good, I can't wait to see it!! Xx

Sooner or later, we all go back to being the monsters we truly are!
We learn more about Jack too, not only does he have acute emotional intelliegence, easy charm and killer instincts but:
“He has very strong opinions about what’s right and wrong, and he’s very willing to cross certain boundaries, bend certain rules, if he believes that the end justifies the means.”
: “He gets reprimanded for stepping out of line. But you can’t really teach an old dog new tricks. Jack’s too instinctive. He knows he’s not done the ‘right’ thing, but getting in trouble with his superiors is not going to worry him too much if he’s the one who solves the case.”
The more I hear about Jack the more I'm dying to see this show!
It all sounds so gritty and real, his in-the-moment reactions will be really interesting to see. I like how they even asked things like "what do you have on your desk". Very personal. Curious to find out what Jack has on his desk.
Since the script is partially improvised, I wonder how much input he had into his character's look and details.
