Albert Flight falls in love - Ripper Street, Albert Flight fan fic

This is my new Albert Flight fan fic "Flight courts Miss Rosalie" which is a development on my previous fan fic called 'Flight and Miss Rosalie'. Flight falls in love but will his past catch up with him.....

Has a spolier at the very end which gives away a major plot point if you haven't seen the whole of Ripper Street Series 2. This link has my other Flight fan fics too which also contain spoilers to series 2.

Oooh Rosie! The title is very exciting! I'm going to treat myself tomorrow and read this before I go to sleep. I'm camping few days and only taking my phone cause I wanna keep up whats happening in the forumwink

Did I already told you that you are amazing story teller? Cause you are! *doff the hat*. You have clearly watched RP season 2 few times (and know Albert very well) and let your imagination flow! I got that feeling that if Albert falls in love, this is how it would happen (maybe you could send this to writers of RP and ask if they could make these scenes, cause I would like to watch them?)wink

I also liked that little jealous character Flight had in this story, it fits him quite well actuallybiggrin Ending was so sweetaww (sweet puppy Flight-style sweet).

This is how I like to think of Albert - he just wants someone to love him for the man he really is and when he found that person to love he would cling to them and not want to lose them.

I'm so glad you liked my story and that my version of Albert made your heart melt!

Brilliant Rosie, very absorbing story and cannot wait to see where you go with it. Your characterisation of Flight, Jackson and Reid is spot on and you had me in stitches with every line from 'The American'!

Thanks Domino! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Jackson is so much fun to write! He is the funniest character in Ripper Street and gets all the good lines!

I've got lots of little bits of story on the go at the moment, particularly about Flight and Rosalie's life, but it's not yet at a stage where I can put it all together. There is a short sequel to this part where the two lovers are kept apart but it was a bit too emotionally overblown and heartbreaking and I think it needs a bit of tweaking! I don't want to make everyone cry!

I'm still working on another story where Flight finally proves himself to Reid but I need to work on the intricacies of the plot properly.

Whimsy, really?? That's somehow really awesome and really confusing in the same timebiggrin cause I could not do that, too many awesome books have come out and I need to read them, I just have totangentially

I have some ideas for continuing this story but have had a thought that perhaps Rosalie already knows about Flight's criminal past but hasn't told him that she knows (yet). I'm not sure whether that is more interesting - that she already knows and loves him anyway - than Rosalie finding out that the man she loves has done these terrible things and having to come to terms with it? And what would Flight's reaction be to knowing that she knows?

Molonians, what do you think?
