TJ - you mean the hostel? Yeah...I did wonder - and Jack seems to wonder about her too at this point. I think this is where he's starting to wonder if Saul is guilty....
Yes TJ. I thought about how Saul said Sadie was the first one to make him feel welcome in the home but at the same time she never gave me a warm fuzzy, motherly, outgoing vibe.

I didn't think she was described as a carer but I thought she was kind of like his friend and a calming/responsible person for him. It never felt like it fit to me though. Though she did outwardly appear to care about him.

how would you all describe Jack's expression at the end of this scene? i used 'cynical' in the scene breakdown but that is not it..... and find the ambiguity riveting... Damien is so good at that kind of contained emotion thing... it's very powerful and adds so much more to the character and the weight of every scene!
papillon... pamplemousse... bibliothèque... un baiser A lilt in his voice. Every sentence like music... #kisskisskiss A terrible beauty is born. Love me some #Jacksass
To be fair....Jack was always willing to follow 'other lines of enquiry'. But I think after finding Saul at the 2nd crime scene...and the interview, that the photo-fit that obviously isn't Saul makes him seriously doubt his previous conviction that Saul is guilty.
Martha interviews Nate Turner (solicitor present) who claims he does not know who Daley Black is.
Scene 39 ( 25.09 - 26.24 )
Jack interviews Daley Black (solicitor present) who claims he has never heard of Jonathan Moxton and on seeing his photo, has never seen him before. Jack shows him the text of his online messages with Jonathan, which show Jonathan telling Daley to leave him alone. Daley asserts he was not bothered at all by the rebuff.
Scene 40 ( 26.25 - 27.25 )
Jack and Charlie discuss theories of how Nate and Dale know each other in the staff room. Jack suggests perhaps Nate steals stuff from men he has sex with and Daley sells it? Charlie points out the level of violence doesn't match with the value of the items taken and Nate does not have a violent past.
CS: Are we looking for a third person?
JW: I think that's a very good question.
Scene 41 ( 27.26 - 27.37 )
Charlie picks up a pile of files from the archives
Scene 42 ( 27.38 - 28.04 )
Charlie show Martha the research she is doing on checking pawn shops and robberies to try and cross reference them to find a pattern
Scene 43 ( 28.05 - 29.50 )
Jack interviews Daley (solictor present) and asks him what he gets out of "assisting Nate Turner to assault closeted men." Daley denies assaulting anyone. Jack persists and Daley finally reveals something.
JW: This is what Michael Collins looks like now. He's dead. We found his body last night. This is what Jonathan Moxton looks like...today, assaulted yesterday morning. Michael Collins, dead. A hammer attack to the head. Jonathan Moxton, critical condition in hospital. Hammer blow to the head, severe brain damage. Murder, attempted murder. You're the guy in the grey tracksuit. Talk.
DB: I never met that guy. I met him online.
JW: I'm fucking bored of that excuse.
DB: I met him online. That was it. I never met him in person.
JW: The last contact he had with anyone online is you. "Leave me alone." "Piss off." "You're scaring me."
DB: Look, I met Nate a while ago and he told me he had a new boyfriend. And erm... I wanted to check him out online, so I checked him out online. When I did, I thought he was quite cute, so I thought I'd message him. And erm... he didn't fancy me, so that was it.
JW: He told you to fuck off.
DB: That was it.
JW: How are you and Nate working as a team together?
DB: Now and again I pawn some shit for him. That's it. Nate's a mate and he just said, "Can you get rid of this stuff?"
JW: Why are you going to all these pawn shops with watches and phones and... selling them and profiting from them when you know that this is happening to the victims?
I transcribed part of the Daley Black interview because i felt it showed Jack being very pushy as he sometimes is in the interview room.. but that sometimes that is what is needed to get results.. his detective skills totally got Daley to open up
